Chatters
online have already done a lot in this area with the abbreviated jargon
we see around
being used by them all. This gives us an idea to spread the practice in
an authentic and uniform
way. Therefore, KalPoint.com is introducing a 'DICTIONARY' that contains
the items already
approved by our panel of experts.
The criteria for a word to enter this 'DICTIONARY' are following.
The
word should be very common in everyday use, especially those grammatical
words like
helping verbs and articles etc.
The
abbreviation should be phonetic; it means the sound of it should go in
line with the
actual pronunciation of the word, for example, 'c u' for 'see you'.
When the abbreviation is typed, it should involve the minimum clicks and
n the mutual
distance of the clicks on the keyboard should also be minimum because many
internet
users usually use not more than two fingers while typing.
A panel of experts has been formed to judge the entries and see if they
are valid and
commonsensical, and are in line with the basic structure of English language.
The experts are:
Osama Yawar Khawaja [ TaUrUs-MaN ]
So, here is your chance to make things easier for yourself and for others.
Come
up with your observations and suggestions and use this dictionary and help
it become a
standard.
We
will publish the names of the people whose entries are accepted in this
‘DICTIONARY’.
