On 9/11 2001 there was an attack on america. Some terroist hijacked four planes and attacked America. Two of the airplanes were crashed into the World Trade Centers in N.Y.C .The third plane crashed into the Pentagon in Washington D.C. The last plane crashed was going to crash into another building in Washinton D.C. but the passengers stoped it and it crashed in a field in Pennslvania.
The War with Iraq
There was a war with Iraq between the U.S. and Iraq. This wae occured because Saddam Usne had weapons of mass distruction, and would not let weapons inspectors
to check. Saddam wasn't going with it and the U.S. went to war, along with other factors. The U.S. goal was to take Saddam out of power in Iraq.
The space shuttle Columbia had a left wing difficulty. It later went flying across the sky and debri landed all over Texas.
A 41 year old man and his 17 year old acoplis were behind a series of sniper shootings.They left messages and letters to the police. This happened last fall in the Washinton area. They left ten people dead and three wounded.
LAKERS WIN 3 CONSECUTIVE CHAMPIONSHIPS The Los Angels Lakers won three consecutive NBA titles in a row beating the Pacers in 2000, the Sixers in 2001, and the Nets in 2002.
LAKERS LOSE IN 6 The lakers run for a fourth NBA title came to an end when they lost to the spurs in game 6. Shaquile O'neil scored 31 points that game but it wasn't enough for the Lakers to get bye.
SARS cases have been reported in Asia, Nouth America,and Europe. This disease is spread by close person to person contact.
These twin girls were born attached by the head. But after undergoing a 22 hour surgery were seperated and the girls saw each other for the first time.
