CURRENT ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES

Our major current environmental issues that affect the world is polution and over populaion.

Polution which affects the world in various ways such as the depletion of ozone layer that protects earth from the UV rays. The earth is being poluted by car exhaust, and fossil fules, which has lead to the hole in the ozone layer, which leads to global warming. Global warming is another consequence of polution which then affect the climate. For example, the polar ice caps are melting due to the increase of the temperature. This could eventually lead to flooding. The melting of the ice caps also cause the waters to cool. From the heat of the air and the cool water mixing together causes storms like hurricanes.

Soultions to these problems, are by simply using our heads. If we took the time, and thought about what we are doing to the earth, we would relazie that we are doing more harm then good. If we took the bus, walked, or arranged a car pool, we wouldn't be putting as much exhaust into the atmosphere, therefore the hole in the ozone layer wouldn't grow. If we recycled, we wouldn't be putting as much waste onto the earth. Over population is another issue that we need to deal with. In order for the balance to be maintained, human beings need to be aware of the problems they are causing. A solution to this would be control. People should learn to control their actions, or deal with the consequences.

If there isn't a balance between the elements, then the system will fail to regulate making the earth fragile. The earth is a very fragile thing, and we humans take it for granted way to often. We polute the earth, and don't think twice about it. All the things we are doing to our world, is making the earth more fragile then it already is.
