A cross between a Dentate which is known for its marginal tentacles mutated into short triangular cilia, and another plant known for its consistently extra large and moderately red-colored traps. Like the seeds of the parent, the traps are consistently large with deep red interior and triangular cilia. The traps are functional, and are able to trap insects Usually send out semi-erected petioles. The partially closed traps resembles the shark's jaws

Requires full sunlight to attain deep red interior. It is different from the red piranha in that its petioles remain pale green and its teeth are triangular and are not like the piranha's teeth which are fuzzy and jagged-liked .
