My old barn house
I will arise and go now, and go back to my old barn house
And a few small rooms build there, decorated with my childhood memory
A little farm will I have there, next to the hard rock pond,
And live with my loves in the wide, peaceful hill.
And I shall have some freedom there, for freedom comes from wild wind,
Blowing from all directions, hug me and take away all my troubles and hatred;
There morning is bright and fresh,
And evening full of god's gifts and rainbow sunset.
I will arise and go now, for always days and months,
I hear lake water running through rivers and slap on the rocks;
While I stand by my house, or next to my farm,
I hear it in the deep heart's core.
