Born : 1973, CA
Amy started her professional life as a photojournalist which then turned her fate to be a practical graphic designer. She graduated in San Francisco State University, CA. She worked in Photo Metro, a monthly photo publication. The twisted fate happened when Henry Brimmer, the publisher needed a designer for the company instead of a photographer. Her stepfather encouraged her to a serious career change. Eventually, Amy learned all she ought to know about print design.
Later on, Oliver Laude talked to her about doing Atlas Magazine, an internet-based magazine that would be a collaborated by designers, photojournalists, multimedia artists and illustrators. With limited experiences on graphic design before, her awesome interactive and 3D design projects now made her publicly known. She has accomplished attention to major corporate players like MSNBC, Nike, Swatch and some international companies.
Her early illustrations shows a "hip, retro look, using cartoonish figures, lots of pink and a sharp, witty sensibility underlying a naive, playful facade". Most of her web designs are describe to be charming animations. Her Futurefarmers website that she set-up in 1995 and Atlas Magazine showcases her best creative work. Her work are mostly futuristic and high-tech with Shockwave interfaces and colorful "bubble-like letters". Some of her best works are in Nutrishnia and NetBaby. She produces a lot of confidence in her work with a desire to "add depth and substance to its content". She is currently busy doing Futurefarmers and some international projects in Asia.
On her interview with The Standard, she said, "Futurefarmers will be marketed with an ecological situation and ways to figure out how to solve or help the situation." Since she grew up in California's San Joaquin Valley, she has developed passions for ecology and making trends "grow, live and breathe" which is visually exhibited in Futurefarmers.
Some of her numerous accomplishments are:

theyrule.net
Mon Kok (presented in Oakland, CA College of Arts and Crafts)

I just make stuff and don't really think about it.
I just make, make, make."
