This is me!!!
I have been to 3 primary schools, from the posh, stuck up, private school, through the upper, middle class primary school, where I was nearly thrown out and it was discovered that I have AS, through to an amazing school in a council estate, which changed my life.
The first, of which I remember little of Cheadle Prepaiatory School (how stuck up does that sound), was near Gatly, a subberb of Manchester. I remember fainting on the piano, at my first and only piano lesson, going to get my grazed hand looked at, crawling under a table when a visitor came in the room, sitting in a ble leather chair, snack time and playing "kiss chace" with many enthusiastic girls. I also remember being kept down a year for some reason, of which I can't remember. And of corce my first love, Jessica Race. I wonder if she still remembers me?...
Next was Styal, a school not far away from the 1st runway of Manchester Airport, in the middle of a National Trust park, and a cotton mill, which we visited far to many times. Mrs Gray, the most remmerable person, is not portrayed well in my memmory, although it wasn't all bad.
In that school there were some intresting times, from meating Prince Charls, to haveing the whole school trying to stop me from running out of school, the old computers with the 5.5 inch disk drives and he best games, the new computers and the luntch DT's to try to teatch me not to kiss girls, a rudementery type of brain washing.
Next was the best school, Colshaw, or Oklenclough as it is now called. The kids didn't just like you for what you had, they liked you for who you were.
The first class I was in, I don't remember mutch abbout, apart from the marble jar system, eg you did something good and you got to put a marble in the jar, and when the jar was full we'd get a treat.
The next class was Miss Stewart's class, an amazing person, who could make the roughest person, genrally the ex school bully, the nicest person in the school. Whie in this class we did some amazing art projects, like making the Cheshire County Council christmas card, a big batique tube based on fossils and had a lot of fun. As I remember, when we were doing the planets, Mat and a few others voted for our group to be called Uranus, knowing full well what it ment apart from the name of the planet!
Next I moved into High school, Wilmslow High School to be exact. At first, it was a very daunting expiriance, as the school seemed sutch a huge place, but after a few months I was back to my normal self, behaving well until the teacher told us to do a spelling test in english! BAD move! Mat and I started a revolution, and the whole class followed. I never knew if there was a spelling test that day, as i was given a 4 day suspention, but I doubt it strongly, as I haven't had one for years, I guess that word travels fast!!!
The next few years were uneventful
