Scent of Death

Tobias Moretti as Richard "Richie" Moser
Karl Markovics as Ernst Stockinger

Fritz Muliar as Max Koch
Gerhard Zemann as Dr. Leo Graf
Daniella Gaets as Sonja Koller

Summary
A woman is strangled by her lover and the only clue Moser and Rex have is that the culprit smells of the aphrodisiac musk. The only thing the culprit seems to have taken is a distinctive ring. It seems there is a conman on the loose.

The good
Sabine Petzl returns as Elizabeth Böhm (see A Murderous Summer, from Season 2). She and Moser still have good chemistry even though Moser currently has a girlfriend. Gabriela Bernesch is good as Silvia Lorenz and Rex’s nose plays a key role in solving the case.

The bad
Zauner was pretty much a non-character - there to provide necessary plot twists without actually being at all interesting.

Disclaimer : Kommissar Rex is owned by Mungo film, Tauris film, SAT.1 and ORF and was created by Peter Hajek and Peter Moser. None of the characters, actors or photographs belong to me, unfortunately. I'm just borrowing them, having a bit of fun and then returning them more or less unharmed.
