Whitney is Eminem's adopted daughter. Her "true" parents are Kim and Eric Hartter. Whitney is 11 months old. A source close to Eminem said: “He was furious that Kim could get involved with such a man when she had Hailie with her."
Hartter’s mother, Marie, has decided to sue Kim and Eminem for custody of Whitney after Kim was arrested for suspected cocaine possession last week. So she feels that Kim couldn't be a very good mother to Whitney.
Eminem is heartbroken because he may loose his adopted daughter Whitney to Kim. Not only that he may also loose Hailie.
Hartter is a fugitive, wanted for various drug charges. Marie (Eric Hartter's mother) says that because her son is a fugitive he can't sue, that she will. Marie says that ever since Kim got back with Marshall she has cut her out of Whitney's life. She says "I am not going to be frightened off by Eminem’s money. All I want is to see Whitney.” Marie claims that she called Kim a number of times asking her if she could see Whitney. Kim would reply "If you want to see her, take me to court" and says "It’s too bad that you’re never going to see Whitney because she is so beautiful."
Eminem is furious with Kim for being with such a lowlife. He hated the thought of Eric being near Hailie, and believes that Kim was very stupid.
