Super pellets were also inside the maze if you got them that you were able to eat the ghost for a certain amount of time. After clearing each screen the levels would get faster.

T.V Shows

The television landscape of the early 1980s was dominated by prime-time soaps and action dramas. But in 1984, the situation comedy was reborn when THE COSBY SHOW made its debut. This gentle show, concentrating on the day to day lives of the upper-middle-class Huxtable family, was both a throwback to earlier sitcoms and a fresh new perspective on family life. THE COSBY SHOW was the brainchild of popular actor/comedian Bill Cosby, who had originally envisioned the show as a blue-collar comedy. When this first idea failed to gain the attention of the networks, Cosby's wife suggested that he retool the series to focus on a family of professional living in an upscale Brooklyn neighborhood. Thus changed, THE COSBY SHOW was picked up by NBC and premiered on September 20, 1984. The rest, as they say, is television history.

Lyrics and Music of the 1980's

Music was of great influence in the 1980's. It played a great role in describing this decade and allowing kids to describe who they are. there were many types music to listen to at this time. Some types of music were Hip-Hop (the early stages), Punk Rock, Heavey Metal (including death metal), and the oh so wonderful pop.

We have picked 2 songs we think help to describe this time period.

Material Girl ------------------------- Some boys kiss me, some boys hug me I think they're O.K. If they don't give me proper credit I just walk away They can beg and they can plead But they can't see the light, that's right 'Cause the boy with the cold hard cash Is always Mister Right, 'cause we are Living in a material world And I am a material girl You know that we are living in a material world And I am a material girl Some boys romance, some boys slow dance That's all right with me If they can't raise my interest then I Have to let them be Some boys try and some boys lie but I don't let them play Only boys who save their pennies Make my rainy day, 'cause they are Living in a material world And I am a material girl You know that we are living in a material world And I am a material girl Living in a material world [material] Living in a material world Boys may come and boys may go And that's all right you see Experience has made me rich And now they're after me, 'cause everybody's Living in a material world And I am a material girl You know that we are living in a material world And I am a material girl A material, a material, a material, a material world Living in a material world [material] Living in a material world

This song is just a summary of how the 1980's was based very largley on materials. Its also a good example of woman arent scarred of saying what they want from life and in this case men.

The other song we picked is wlak like an egyptian by the bangles.

Walk Like an Egyptian All the old paintings on the tomb They do the sand dance, don'cha know? If they move too quick (Oh-Ah-Oh), they're falling down like a domino. And the bazaar man by the Nile He got the money on a bet For the crocodiles (Oh-Ah-Oh), They snap their teeth on a cigarette. Foreign types with their hookah pipes sing: Oh-ah-oh-ah-ooo-aaa-ooo-aaa, Walk like an Egyptian. The blonde waitresses take their trays, Spin around and they cross the floor. They've got the moves (Oh-Ah-Oh), You drop your drink then they bring you more. All the school kids so sick of books, They like the punk and the metal band. When the buzzer rings (Oh-Ah-Oh), They're walking like an Egyptian. All the kids in the marketplace say: Oh-ah-oh-ah-ooo-aaa-ooo-aaa, Walk like an Egyptian. Line your feet astreet, bend your back, Shift your arm, then you pull a clock. Like Sergeant O (Oh-Ah-Oh), So strike a pose on a Cadillac. If you want to find all the cops, They're hanging out in the donut shop. They sing and dance (Oh-Ah-Oh), They spin their clock and cruise on down the block. All the Japanese with their Yen, The party boys call the Kremlin. The Chinese know (Oh-Ah-Oh), They walk along like Egyptians. All the cops in the donut shops say: Oh-ah-oh-ah-ooo-aaa-ooo-aaa, Walk like an Egyptian, Walk like an Egyptian.

This song is a must when talking abtou the 80's. It is totally about doing your own thing and thats what the 1980's is all about.
