The Best Day Of My Life!!!

On December 31,1998, my friend Nicky and I arrived in Orlando,FL to attend the Backstreet Boys concert at the famous Orlando Arena. We waited outside and chatted with some girls (one whom was from our town...Jacksonville!)! At around 7:20 pm, the doors finally opened and we dash inside and make ourselves comfy at our 3rd row seats. You will now embark on a wonderful journey that I had the pleasure to experience. Little did I know, that I was going to meet certain people and I was unaware of how lucky I would soon become! To find out, read on. I will have pictures (that I scanned) to go along with the story,too. (I ran out of film after the "Lets Have A Party"....so forgive me) DO NOT STEAL MY PICS!!!ASK FOR PERMISSION! Innocent and Unaware

Like I mentioned before, Nicky and I sat at our wonderful 3rd row seats. My seat was the last in the row and we noticed that we were right next to the Backstage Entrance! So, with cameras in our hands, we are ready for anyone and prepare to take pictures of anyone connected with the Backstreet Boys! We were not sure of who we were going to meet....but the surprises are about to begin!

Nicky and I are minding our own business and chatting with this pretty blonde in front of us. Nicky grabs my arm. I ask her what her problem is. Turns out, we see Kevin's brother, Tim, standing in front of the Backstage area! We shout his name and he waves back at us. I motion for him to come over. He shakes his head no. I practically get down on my knees and say "Please...please!" He shakes no again. We ask where Kevin is and he points to the backstage area. Since he won't come over and talk to us, we manage to snap pictures of him. He notices us and he just laughs at us!

After Tim snubs us, Nicky and I resume our chat with the blonde girl in front of us. Nicky shrieks in my ear. I'm thinking , what is her prob? It's Tommy Smith from the BSB Band! Nicky is too scared to shout his name, so I call him over and he walks right up to us! I tell him that Nicky and I met on his Message Board at his website. Nicky gives him a card for the band. We ask for a picture with him and he agrees! (I emailed him the pic,too so check out his site,too) He was so nice! I asked him about Guido and he said it would be on Denn's' keyboards.
