Well, I (Kat) went and saw and I freakin conquered! Aww yes baby! After surviving the opening acts of Tonya Mitchell (Mandy Moore's twin), Lil' Romeo (introduced by his dad, Master P), and BBMAK. BBMAK were the best and the whole stadium sang along to "Back Here". Christian is a hottie!

At precisely 9:10pm, all the field lights went off and this huge countdown clock came on the screen starting at 1:00 minute. When it reached 0 seconds, the definition of "pop" came on the screen. Then the definition of "odyssey" came on. Then a nerdy looking Joey came on the screen and walked into a "classroom" and wrote POP on the chalkboard. Then Chris' voice came on and we watched a video on the history of the band. It was really cute.....then it came to the NSA tour recap and the video stopped. Then the definition of "pop odyssey" came on: "a long journey in trying to become popular...starting as a dream and ending in reality...." Nerdy Joey comes back on the screen and writes "DIRTY" in front of POP......
In the middle of the field, is black tower that connects to the catwalk that goes all the way up to the stage. *NSYNC pop out of a "pod" and start singing "Pop". They stayed on that tower until the 2nd verse where they then walked down the catwalk and danced on there for all the lucky fans! After "Pop", they did a medley of "Tearin Up My Heart/I Want You Back". For "God Must Have Spent", the went to my right side of the stage and rose up just like they did for NSA, but this time it was at the beginning and they started it at JC's verse rather than Justin's. After that, they sang "This I Promise You" and all these pretty candles appeared and it was soo beautiful! They also sang a new song called "The Two If Us" and they come out of the middle of the huge video screen and this elevator-type lowers them down onto the mainstage.

After the song is over, they go back up the elevator. Another video came on, its Chris and Lance (you can call him Jackson) dressed as cowboys and talking in HORRIBLE southern drawls! They were reminiscing about going to the beach, having cookouts, and going to see an *NSYNC concert. The pics were hilarious, everyone was laughing.

So then when thats over, the guys are ABOVE the main screen and they slide down like Batman on these suspended wires from the top all the way down to the tower in the middle of the field. They sing "Space Cowboy" and walk down the catwalk again to the stage. On the stage are metallic mechanical bulls and the guys ride them around and they look like FUN! And for the last chorus, they are just riding those bulls that it should be illegal to do that in public! OMG...I was drooling! So, then Chris kills some time and says how he really hates his chaps and "stripper" music starts to play. And he clumsily strips off his chaps and falls on the floor! I can't remember what was next, but another video began to play......

It was the 1920's video that I had heard so much about. Its in Black and White and its done like those Charlie Chaplin movies, theres no sound to them, just music. Its called "The Story Of A Rose"....and Justin gives his girlfriend a rose and shes all shy. He then says "I love you, Do you really love me?" and she says "no". Justin gets pissed and it was hilarious to see him tell her off! Then they show flashbacks of him and his girl walking down the street and having their first kiss. Then they go back to him walking down the street and sulking cuz his girl doenst love me. He runs into the rest of the guys and they try to cheer him up by doing some slapstick comedy, but it doesnt work. Justin then looks into the camera, with a tear running down his cheek and says "I cant believe shes gone..." And then *NSYNC are sitting on this lit-up staircase onstage wearing tuxedoes and Justin sings the song "Gone" that he wrote. And it was cool cuz on the main screen, they showed the live version in black & white to keep up with the theme!

Ok, well, I'm starting to get a cramp in my hand, so here is what else they sang....Its Gonna Be Me, No Strings Attached, Celebrity, another new song where they were dressed like video game characters, and the finale of BYE BYE BYE!
