So, now its raining in *sunny* Florida and we arrive at the parking lot. The retards weren't even directing us were to go. For all I know I could have driven right into the backlot, but some pimple-faced Marilyn Manson lover told me to park up front which was kewl for me. We were right at the main entrance. So now Kid Nicky gets a GREAT idea to stand in the rain and scream at the tour buses. However, the rain is casuing our hair to frizz and we run back to seek shelter at the arena. We meet several nice girls that we have run into at BSB and *N Sync concert. They ALL recognized Kid Nicky while I stand there and chat with the lady from Georgia. Much to our amusement, a Tom Green look-a-like walks by and we sing "The Bum Bum Song" which I think scared him! lol...
FINALLY...the doors open at 6:30pm and we get the expensive drinks and arrive at our KICK ASS 3rd row seats. They were da bomb diggity, dawg! Some guy named Christian Davis walks out and all the teenyboppers think he is a member of No Authority or a Lachey Brother...IN HIS WILDEST DREAMS maybe! He's just some local teen singer..big whoop! We wait and wait...listening to the overplayed Jennifer Lopez CD. Whose wonderful idea was this,ya know? We sang BSB and *N Sync just to keep ourselves preoccupied! About 5 minutes before NA's set, our bud Karensa shows up and hands me the 8 rolls of film! Yeah bay-bee!
The lights dim and NO AUTHORITY comes out and does their thing. The first song is from their last album (with Josh Keaton) and my 2 psycho friends knew the words, causing Tommy Boy to thrust his pelvis at us a few times. No really...he pointed and smile. It was Ricky who had a thing for Kid Nicky...lol! They sang some more songs and poor Eric's mike cut off and he had to borrow Tommy's. We were cheering him on though! Then they sang a VERY boyband song called "A Girl Like You" with the heartwarming chorus of: "Can I get yo' numba baby...Hit me wit dem seven digits..." So, they're done and leave and we have to endure the Jennifer Lopez CD again. Fortunately for us, we knew that the concert was about to begin cuz we could see the guys get into their time capsules.
The voice of "GOD" is heard on the speakers. I forget what he said, something about the 98 Degree Kind and this thick cloud of smoke pratically choked us to death! There are 4 time capsules ostage and I knew instantly that Drew was closest to us....he was the shortest one..teehee. They open the doors and do some robotic movements and remove their gas masks. We scream and we cant belive that "hubba hubba" 98* is RIGHT there! They rip off their white costumes and end up having army pants and bullet-proof vests on. Much to my pleasure, Nick and Jeff had their nipples in plain view! Grrrrrr.....this set us beserk! When they sang "Fly With Me", Jeff did a chicken dance which is sooo friggin funny! Drew was like "What the...." and they did a "Pretty Fly For A White Guy"/"My Name Is 98*" medley. Very cute.
Our fave part is during the beginning, they split the audience and have one side scream "PAARTAY!" and the other side scream "ALLLLLRIGHT!". Jeff was sitting arm's length in front of us. OMG...we were screaming his name and he looked at us and was telling us to Shush. So we screamed some more and he just laughed.Do you know what its like to have Jeff's fine physique in front of you? I noticed that he didnt shave which kinda bugged me.
The other songs they sang were "1999" and some other song I dont know. They go backstage to change and emerge with nice trousers and dress shirts and sing "Invisible Man". They are so HOT! Oh baby! Jeff kept lingering at our side of the stage and I would make eye contact, but I would have preferred Nick of Drew in front of me. The also sang "I Do" while sitting in chairs and FINALLY my Nickolas Scott Lachey was in front of me. He is so beautiful! We could hear the arena singing along. I think Drew was in awe, to tell you the truth! They also did a Temptations song and introduced the band. Big whoop there.
As an encore, they changed into white bball gear (very nice too) and came out with "Because Of You" followed by "True To Your Heart." Jeff sings Stevie Wonders' part in a VERY high pitch. Kinda scared me though. They introduced eachother and Justin reminded us not to call Drew by his hated nickname..."Andy." So, of course we all scream Andy..lol!
The last song was "The Hardest Thing" and I made veeeeery long eye contact with Andy...uhh..I mean Drew. He is just so adorable. At the end they kneel down and stare out into the audience and I look at him cuz he's...well...right there. And he looks at me and I'm like "OMG...am I hallucinating?" And he jsut keeps staring and I smile,. I didnt want to ruin the moment by flashing him or licking my lips, so I let the moment soak into my brain!
OVERALL:
WOW!! This was the most fun we had in a loooooong time! And the best pics I ever took were at this concert!I learned that Drew is the best dancer of the bunch and Justin can play the harmonica. Also, the prettiest girls in Florida are in Jacksonville! Well, according to Jeff, but he's just trying to get some booty....right,ladies? LOL...he even laughed after he said that! WTF?!?!?!
::KID NICKY HERE:: I just want to say, that I HOPE JESSICA SIMPSON DIES!! As you all know, they are dating. She is just one lousy month older, and I can weap her blonde ass back too Texas anyday. Nick is my man, and she will pay...oh yes...she will pay..::evil laugh::
