My Childhood Crushes

Okay, so it just occurred to me that I've pretty much been boy crazy since I was like 4, so I'd like to share with everyone my celebrity crushes of when I was younger. I watched a lot of television when I was younger, and I pretty much still do. I always wanted to be a movie star, and I would act out things in my head or in my room, and it would be really fun and exciting. I'm gonna try to go with the oldest ones, but bare with me cuz I can't remember the chronology of my thousands of crushed. Don't laugh, cuz I already know I am a weirdo...

Jack Wagner - He's the first crush I can remember having; I thought he was so cute when I was like 4 watching "General Hospital" and Frisco was singing that "All I Need" song; I love that song!

Jeff the mannequin - I used to think Jeff was so cute on "Today's Special"; these are the types of shows I remember watching when I was younger just because there were cute guys on them.

Alvin Seville - Yes, I know Alvin was a cartoon and a chipmunk, but I had a thing for him anyway. I'm sure there are tons of girls out there who felt the same way, and don't try to deny it.

Jonathan Brandis - I just found out he died last week, which made me really sad. Wesley and I started having a discussion about all the celebrities we had crushes on after I told him, which inspired me to make this list. I absolutely loved him in "The Neverending Story 2", and I watched all his teeny bop movies, like "Ladybugs" and "Sidekicks". I was just looking him up on IMDb about a week or two ago, and now I find out he's dead. Sad!

Mark-Paul Gosselaar - Holy shit, Zack Morris! He was and still is fucking hot! I don't think there's a girl who watched "Saved By the Bell" that didn't like him. I was always into the tall, skinny white boys.

David Lascher - Oh Ted! I watched "Hey Dude!" religiously when Ted was on the show. He was so freaking cute. When he left, it was all over for me, and I was always hoping that he and Brad would get together. I even watched him on "90210" and yelled at the TV cuz I didn't want him to get with Kelly. I'm such a dork!

Scott Baio - I loved him as Chachi on "Happy Days", and he was quite the hottie on "Charles In Charge". I would watch the reruns on Nick at Nite just to see him for a split-second on "Happy Days".

Leonardo DiCaprio - Before he was in any movie, I was in love with Leo when he played the orphan kid on "Growing Pains". He was so cute with that sorta long blonde hair that guys used to have in the early 90's.

Josh Saviano - Yes, I know he was superdorky as Paul on "The Wonder Years" and there was speculation that he is Marilyn Manson, but you gotta admit that Paul got cuter in the later episodes of the show.

Joey McIntyre - I thought he was so cute (big surprise) when I first saw him on "Don't Just Sit There" with the rest of New Kids On the Block

Jonathan Knight - After Joey started going through puberty, I moved on to Jon cuz he was the shy cutie.

Jordan Knight - I eventually stuck to Jordan Knight after Jon cuz he was the cutest one and the most popular. I was such a closet fan; I pretended that I hated them so that the boys in my class didn't think I was a loser, but deep down inside, I loved them! I actually got to meet him in 1999 at Tower at Stonestown, and he was so cute. I loved his video for "Give It To You", and he danced really well. Too bad that was his only good single.

Roobear - Yes, I know, that's two cartoon animals. But he was the coolest koala on the show, man. I was probably like 5 or 6, so I didn't know any better.

Russ from "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids" - I don't even know his name so it couldn't have been that big of a crush, but still worthy of putting his name down.

Danny Pintauro - He was Jonathan on "Who's the Boss?". I guess it was the beginning of my unfortunate attraction to gay guys.

Rob Stone - He played the older brother on "Mr. Belvedere" and for some reason I thought he was cute. I just looked up his picture, and oh my God, what was I thinking?! Wesley is cuter!

Macauly Culkin - I loved him when he was Thomas Jay in "My Girl". It made me so sad when he died. And, he totally looks the same now as when he did those "Home Alone" movies.

Corey Haim - Oh my God! Get out of my dreams; get into my car! He was so freaking cute, and I even got sad when he lost his virginity in a car in one of his later movies "Fast Getaway". I'm sure everyone was in love with him, but I saw recent pictures of him and he falls into the who "failed child star" cliche. I jsut found out he's Canadian; those Canadians have some cute actors up there!

Mackenzie Astin - Speaking of failed child stars, I thought he was so cute on "The Facts of Life" as Andy. I even watched that "Garbage Pail Kids" movie that he was in, and I must say when I watched him in "Dream of an Insomniac", I still thought he was cute. Did you know that his mom is Patty Duke?

Corky Nemec - Parker Lewis definitely cannot lose. Man, he wore those huge oversized button-up shirts, but I totally loved him. It really bothered me as a child when his character was smoking in the TV film "I Know My First Name Is Steven", the movie where Mr. Ernst kidnaps him.

Ricky Schroeder - I loved his little preppy style on "Silver Spoons"

Tom Cruise - I loved Tom in his earlier career when he was in "Top Gun" and "Risky Business". Somthing about the way his eyes squint when he smiled got to me. He's not so appealing to me anymore; I think the long hair in "Interview With the Vampire" did it.

Brad Pitt - I thought he was so hot in "Cool World", the movie where he falls in love with the cartoons. See, I'm not the only one who liked cartoons! He's still fucking hot at 39 going on 40! Yum!

Jonathan Taylor Thomas - I was a closet fan, but later I grew confident enough to let the whole world know that I loved me some JTT! He looked the best when he finally cut his hair, but nowadays he seems way too feminine for me.

Scott Wiener - He was so cute when he played DJ's boyfriend, Steve on "Full House". He's the voice of Aladdin too.

Joey Lawrence - Even though he was all dumb in "Blossom" he was so cute.

Grant Show - Hot Jake on "Melrose Place". I think he ended up sleeping with every single woman on the show while he was on. He was still fine.

Luke Perry - Yeah, I had a crush on Dylan from "90210" for a second

Jason Priestly - Oh Brandon Walsh, how I wished tou stayed on the show and married Kelly instead of leaving her to Dylan.

Brian Austin Green - Man, he was and is hot! I hated him with stupid Donna. I really liked his relationship with Valeria the best, and he and Claire weren't that bad of a couple either, but Donna?!?!?! No!

Devon Sawa - He was so cute in "Little Giants", "Casper", and "Now and Then". I totally wanted to be Christina Ricci in those last two movies, but it's okay cuz he didn't look so good in "Final Destination".

Jerry O'Connell - Damn I thought he was cute on "My Secret Identity" or whatever that show was called.

Damon Pampolino - I loved him when he was on "The Mickey Mouse Club" back in the late 1980's, then he got all funky ass with the rest of "The Party". I did recently see him on "Undressed" playing some gay guy but he still looked good.

Tony Lucca - Yes, we are on to the MMC boys. I was always in denial about him and Keri Russell cuz they were always paired up on the show. I later found out they were dating for the last ten years until Keri started going out with Scott Speedman, who isn't so bad looking. I saw Tony at an *NSYNC concert in Anaheim, and he is still fine.

Ricky Luna - I loved him! I was so in a Hispanic boy phase when I was a preteen, and he was such a cute dancer on MMC

Marc Worden - He had the cutest deep voice, and I loved him. I think he was the guy I loved the most on MMC, even before I discovered my love for Justin Timberlake. He was on one episode of the first season of "Felicity", and he didn't look too bad. Last I heard of him, he was playing a Klingon on "Star Trek".

Ryan Gosling - Of all the new guys in the last two seasons of MMC, I loved Ryan the most. I thought Justin was the least attractive of the four, but I guess that's all changed now, hasn't it?

That's all I can think of right now, but I will continue to add more if I can remember them. Wow, that was a lot of guys, and this was just up to when I was 13 years old. I told you I was boy crazy! =)
