Instrument: Guitar, Vox
Hometown: Belle Vernon, PA
Educational background: Junior at the University of Pittsburgh (some call it Pitt)
Musical background: I took guitar lessons for three months when I was 14 but I used to listen to Bruce Springsteen when I was 6.  I took a few classes on theory and history at the college level, but I still play mostly by ear. Before Punchline I had several bands which usually consisted of members of Logic, Tabula Rasa, & A Week In July.  The band names were funny but it was a good time.
Listening material: Hmmm... For right now lets just say Shakira and Thursday.
Favorite Punchline memory: the CD Release Bash @ Laga on 10.12.01; for the first time we saw our hard work pay off.
First ever concert attended: I'll be honest, Myself and Johnny from A Week In July went to see the Crash Test Dummies when we were in 7th grade.
Best concert ever attended: I'd have to say Saves the Day, A New Found Glory, Piebald, & Killed at Camp in Wheeling, WV.
Goals: Happiness of course.  And also I'd like to hang out with Richard Dean Anderson for a day.

Aspect of music that I find most intriguing: I love how a certain song can
put you in a certain mood or take you back to the time when you first heard it.

Paul Menotiades - guitar/vocals

joined Punchline.
Listening material: Garrison, Red Animal War, Ben Folds... and others
Favorite Punchline memory: Major Motion Picture CD Release party at club laga
First ever concert attended: I think I saw Huey Lewis a long enough time ago to be able to say "I think I saw Huey Lewis".
Best concert ever attended: any one of The Stryder's shows. That's a band that has played almost flawless every time I have seen them.
Goals: to make the best music that I am capable of, and to never lose sight of that.
Aspect of music that I find most intriguing: Understanding music as a second language to me. Being able to understand sound waves being thrown at me through speakers as ideas, and thoughts rather than noise. Having a relationship with a song that I can never get board with or sick of. Constantly learning how to change life stories, and experiences into musical notes.
