Frankie Orange, a tattoo artist hailing from our nations capital, has come closer to britney spears sweet ass than any of us can wet dream about,for a guy whose only been tattooing for 4 years, hes had a world of experiences, but none of them come close to the thrill of being in the presence of the hottest boy band in the universe. thats right, Frankie is nsyncs tattoo artist, and say what you will about them they got frankie close enough to authenticate britneys tit bitties..
Interviewer: YOURE WAY INTO THE HAIR METAL TYPE OF @#%$, RIGHT?
Tattoo Artist: yeah kiss and motley crue are my favs. the whole nsync thing came about when i was tattooing one of their prop guys.. they saw what i did on him, and asked me to come over to their DC show and possibly tattoo one of them , i did, and i tattooed Joey. hes the one with the goatee and the red tips in his hair..
Interviewer: WHAT DID JOEY GET TATTOOED?
Tattoo Artist: the album cover is them hanging like puppets, and i did a small sihoulette version of that on his leg. it hangs from a band of flames on his leg, which he had before. the band if from their first album, which had flames on the cover.
Interviewer: DID THEY TREAT U LIKE THE 6TH MEMBER OF NSYNC?
Tattoo Artist: Oh yeah! they gave me my own dressing room right besides theirs. they all came in and watched me tattoo joey and a couple of the crew people. after i finished up tattooing and was waiting to go home they came up to me and were like" in 2 weeks were going to be in new york. we got 4 sold out shows at madison square garden and one of them is a live hbo presentation. would u like to come up for that? i went and that turned into going with them to
Hershey ,Pa. every time i was about to leave they would say come on u can stay til the next city. so id stay till the next city and arrange to go home again and when i was getting ready to leave hershey, one of the guys in the band, chris was like " you havent had time to do my tattoo. Come to chicago and i can fly you home.
Interviewer: HOW MANY TATTOOS DID YOU DO? ARE THE BOYS IN FULL BODY SUITS?
Tattoo Artist: I probably did 25 tattooes between nsync, their crew, management, and britney spears. i also tattoed playboys miss august, summer alice, who was also at the show. she wasnt hotter than britney but she was definetly holding her own. i tattooed 3 of the nsync guys: justin, chris,and Joey. Justin got 2 tattoes. i had a 3rd one drawn, but we ran out of time. chris got a really big tattoo of a dragon on his calf. the tail of the dragon comes around his leg, and in the curl i put the logo of his clothing line, fumanskeeto. and i put some lettering on joey. all the tattooes are on their legs. they dont have any upper body tattooes because they wear alot of sleeveless things and i dont think thats the image they want when their onstage because of their young crowd.
Interviwer: DID ANY OF THEM CRY WHEN YOU WERE TATTOOING THEM?
Tattoo Artist: no, they all sat like champs.
Interviewer: WERE YOU SKEPTICAL AT FIRST, THINKING "THESE GUYS ARE A BUNCH OF PUSSIES OR THESE KIDS ARE GOING TO BE SO C*** Y AND ARROGANT?
Tattoo Artist: i respect everyone whose successful in whatever they do and they are definetly on top of the world. i really didnt know what to expect because they are so young and so succesful. if i had that much money, i would probably be c*** y. But i didnt want to in stereotyping the situation. i went in with an open mind. it turns out that they treated me like gold. i had my own dressing room, with my name on it. and beneath everyone elses name it said frankie with an arrow pointing to my room so everyone could find me. it was really flattering.
Interviewer: HOW WAS TATTOOING BRITNEY SPEARS.. WERE U ABLE TO CONCENTRATE?
Tattoo Artist: she was really cool. after we met, she said" im ready for u to tattoo me. if u have time". i thought that was cool cause she didnt just expect that i would do it. of course, i would have dropped whatever i was doing just to hook her up. she had a fairy on her lower back that someone else did. it was
a good tattoo, but beacuse of her tanning so much it faded. i pretty much freshened it.
Interviewer: HOW HOT IS SHE
Tattoo Artist: oh shes very hot, she was exactly what u see on tv. she was just dressed down normal. Britney was very sweet and nice to me. she was facinated with
tattooing and asked if she could watch me tattoo other people. she ended up hanging in my room for an hour, she wanted to know what it felt like to hold the machines, so she put on the gloves and ran the machine. i should of had her tattoo me. but i wasnt thinking fast enough. i would have let her do a small star or soemthing just because.
Interviewer: IS IT TRUE THAT THE BOYS HAVE A BOUNCER THAT ID TO MAKE SURE ALL THE GIRLS THAT GET BACKSTAGE ARE OVER 18?
Interviewer: they dont really card anybody. and the truth is not that many people are actually allowed backstage because the guys have to be protected.
Interviewer: SEE ANY HOT NSYNC GROUPIE ACTION?
Tattoo Artist: not at all
Interviewer: WHAT ABOUT U? IM SURE THE HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS WERE DIGGING THE NSYNC ENTOURAGE THING
Tattoo Artist: i could have taken pretty good advantage of it, but the fact is there really isnt any place to take the girls. u cant get anyone backstage its so secure its hard to meet the girls. the only way i took advantage wasnt even a sex thing. when i was in chicago, i needed a ride from the venue to the hotel there were tons of girls outside and some called me over after the show. i told them where i needed to go and they drove me there over an hour.
Interviewer: NO SEX STUFF
Tattoo Artist: no
Interviewer: TOO BAD FOR YOU, I MEAN
Tattoo Artist: yeah i had the view i was going to meet tons of girls before but even if i did where i was going to bring them? i thook tons of pictures with girls, but thats about it.
Interviewer: WHATS UR FUTURE WITH THE #1 BOY BAND IN AMERICA?
Tattoo Artist: theres a possibility i might work as a part of their crew during the winter time and seeing that tattooign is pretty slow then it would give me a chance to experience different things.. i would be setting up whats called their "toy room" which is a room with video games, wieght benches, and bicycles.
they really need it cause they cant go anywhere. theyre prisoners of their own fame.
