Chapter Four

Once she got to the parking lot, after many miles of loosing her way, she caught up with this little girl. She was sitting on the curve with a pissed look.

“Hey there. Wuz up?” Milany asked trying to sound nice.

“My mom wants me to give my ticket to someone because she doesn’t want me to come to see the Backstreet Boys. Here you want it. Just take it. I’m pissed as it is.” With that she shoved the ticket in Milany’s hand. Milany turned it around and it was center, front row. She gasped in surprise. She couldn’t believe that just a second ago she was gonna be in the nose bleed section and now she has the very first row.

“Oh my gosh. This is… this is…WOW!” She was so excited. She walked to the ticket booth. Actually, she skipped to the booth. She couldn’t control how happy she was. Just before reaching the booth she saw a little boy crying.

“What’s wrong?” She asked cautiously.

“I lost my ticket.” The boy said in the saddest puppy face he could put. Milany remembered her ticket from before. Sure it was at the end of the Universe but it was still a ticket. She reached into her pocket and pulled out the ticket.

“Here you go. You can have this one cause I got an extra one.” She could see that the boy’s eyes lit up like diamonds.

“Thank you so much. I really love you right now. Thanks a lot.” Then he ran off to find his mother waiting on a small bench. He dragged his mom over to where Milany was.

“Look mom, this really nice lady gave me her ticket.” His eyes were a lively bluish-green. He smiled as he looked up at Milany who was also smiling.

“Oh bless you. You will receive many good things in your life. Oh maybe… Oh… wait here okay.” The little boy’s mother quickly ran off to get some girl at the booth and brought her to Milany. “Can you please give this girl backstage passes because she gave my son a ticket for the concert and I want to repay her. She is a very generous person and I’m very sure the Backstreet Boys would love to meet someone like her.”

“Alright, it was a coincidence. Someone just brought me some backstage passes because we usually don’t have any. I guess this is your lucky day.” Milany thought about what the girl just said. “Day? What day is it today?” She quickly looked at her wrist and figured out it was February 19th. “Didn’t Jess say that something was going to happen on the 19th? The horoscope thingy. This is getting freaky. Once the girl finished dishing out the backstage pass, she told Milany to give her the ticket and that she could go backstage now or after the concert was over. Milany decided to go after the concert was over. She always wanted to see Nicky all sweaty. The thought of this ran chills up and down her spine. Once she got inside, she realized that many teenyboppers, including her, were running around like crazy. She also saw tormented parents chasing after them. The looks on their faces were horrifying. Poor, poor parents, she felt so sorry for them. Oh well! She walked around to see all the cool stuff that some people were selling. She walked by hats and books and key-chains and posters and she saw every type of accessory of the Backstreet Boys that could ever possibly be invented. She decided to buy a hat for Jess and a book of BSB for herself. After that, the concert was about to begin. Milany regained her excitement once again and rushed to find her seat.
