Uh-Oh

Julianna's point of view

"Juliaaaaaaanaaaaaaaa," Nick whined.
I ignored him.
"You can't just not talk to me for the entire flight," he protested.
I looked at him with my eyebrows raised. It was only a two-hour flight.
"It's not like I did something so horrible," he grumbled.
My features hardened and my face expression became angry.
"Okay, okay, so it was horrible," Nick said, his arms raised in defense. "But still, don't you think you're overreacting just a little?" He held up his right thumb and forefinger with about a half an inch of space between them.
I turned back to look into the window. I just had to get seats that were together didn't I? This would've been so much easier if he was on the other side of the plane, like where the baggage was for example.
"Oh come on, you're supposed to be my girlfriend remember? How is it gonna look if you're not speaking to me?"
"Simple, if I'm not speaking to you, that means I won't see you, and that means that reporters won't have any pictures or stories to print since we won't be seen together," I retorted.
Nick grinned. "You spoke!"
I held up one finger.
"Okay, see, that can mean two things. Either you only spoke once and that's it, or it means 'fuck you'," Nick said.
I nodded.
"Oh, both then."
Nick let out a sigh of frustration and folded his arms across his chest.
"I can't believe you're not speaking to me only because I threw you into the pool."
I glared at him.
"Okay, in the middle of December and you hit your head, but still, you're fine now so quit it already."
All he got from me was another glare and then he was faced with my back as I turned fully to look into the window.
I felt Nick's hands on my shoulders as he turned me around.
"I'm bored, so please get over this and talk to me," he whined.
I shook my head and turned around again.
"Jul, I'm really really really really sorry, what else do you want me to say? If you want, when we get back to Florida, you can throw me into my pool," Nick offered. "Throw me into the shallowest end, that way I'll hit my head too," he added.
I sighed. "Nick, I don't want to hurt you, I just can't believe you didn't think about the depth of the pool before you threw me into the end that was only four feet deep!" I exclaimed.
"I know, and I feel horrible about it, but please, stop being mad at me," he begged.
"No."
Nick's shoulders slumped in defeat.

Brian's point of view

AJ nudged me. "What's with him?" he asked, pointing at Nick who was staring into the limo's window with a blank look on his face.
"Julianna's pissed at him," I replied.
"Ooh, trouble in paradise?" AJ said, grinning.
I laughed. "Apparently."
"What did he do?"
"He threw her into the pool, but didn't think about the fact that it was only four feet deep there, and she hit her head," I explained.
"Why did he throw her in the pool?"
"I'm not sure, but I guess she played a joke on him or something," I said, shrugging.
AJ nodded. "Oh, so you know what the meeting today is about?"
"Our upcoming tour," I told him. "Since it's only a month away we gotta get all the details and stuff down."
"I see. This one's gonna be three months long, right?"
"Yeah, I can't wait," I said, grinning.
"Me either, I wanna be on stage already, tired of sitting around doing nothing."
"What's up with Nick?" Kevin asked, leaning over to us.
"One word-Julianna," AJ snickered.
"Please go on talking about me like I'm not in the limo or anything," Nick said suddenly.
Apparently, we weren't as quiet as we thought we were.
"Sorry Nicky, you just seemed spaced out that's all," I told him apologetically.
"You would be too if your girlfriend was pissed at you," he replied.
"Girlfriend?" the other guys' voices and mine combined.
"Oh, um, right, I forgot to tell you that Julianna and I are dating," Nick shrugged.
"When did this happen?" Howie asked.
"Over the weekend."
"That was fast," I commented. Didn't they always say that they were friends and nothing else? Sheesh, keeping up with those two was impossible.
"It just happened, and we're happy," Nick said in a monotone.
"Oh yeah, I'm overwhelmed with the happiness in your voice," I said sarcastically.
"Shut up," Nick mumbled and turned back to the window.

Julianna's point of view

"Okay, let's do it one more time!" the director called out. My shoulders sagged at the thought of doing this stupid scene again. This was definitely the downside of being an actress.
"Is he kidding?" Sam whispered next to me.
"We did this like four hundred times already!" Courtney added.
"I am so happy that it's New Year's in a couple of days, at least we can't work then," I said.
"I know what you mean," Sam nodded. She glanced at the director. "Think we can get out of here before midnight today?"
"Ain't gonna happen," I replied.
"What are you doing for New Year's?" Courtney asked.
"AJ's having a party and he invited me, it should be fun," I told her.
"Are you and Nick going together?" Sam asked grinning.
I blew a hair out of my face. "No way."
"I thought you guys were really good friends," Sam said, raising her eyebrows.
"We were, until the moron threw me into the pool and I hit my head on the bottom."
"Ouch," Sam and Courtney's answers collided.
"Girls come on, this isn't social hour. You're not being paid to stand around and talk," the director said coming up to us.
The three of us sighed and went back to work.

NEW YEAR'S EVE

"Hey AJ, nice party!" I yelled out to him over the loud music.
AJ grinned and nodded. "I try!"
I laughed and looked around the house. I hadn't been at AJ's before and it looked absolutely beautiful. He had multicolored lights all over the house and there was music blasting from his high-tech stereo system, so loud that you could feel the beat pulsating through the air. There were at least two hundred people gathered in and around the house, all dancing, and having a great time.
I was just happy that I had been at the party for an hour and a half and did not see Nick.
"Hey Jul."
Okay, an hour and a half free of Nick wasn't bad.
"Nick," I stated.
"Still mad?" he grinned sheepishly.
I was not going to fall for that smile. "Ya think?" I retorted.
Nick stopped smiling. "How long are you gonna be mad at me?"
"However long I feel like it."
"Are you…um, enjoying the party?"
That was so lame. Could he have been more obvious in trying to start a conversation? "Yes I am, now I'm going to enjoy it with someone else," I said and walked away.
"Did you just insult Nick…again?" Jess asked coming up to me, with AJ right behind her.
"Yeah," I shrugged.
"Are you gonna give him a break at some point soon?" AJ asked.
"Doubt it." I grabbed a glass off of a platter a waiter was carrying. I swallowed the entire thing and winced as the liquid burned its way down my throat. That felt good.
"Easy on the alcohol," warned Jess.
"Yeah, you don't want to overdo it," AJ added.
I shook my head. "Trust me, I know my limits."
"Famous last words," Jess quipped.
"Ha, ha," I said dryly and went to flag down another waiter.

Nick's point of view

"THREE…TWO…ONE…HAPPY NEW YEAR!" I yelled along with everyone else. I smiled as I looked around the sea of happy faces around me. I spotted Julianna on the other side of the room exchanging hugs and kisses with Jess and AJ.
You throw the girl into the pool and suddenly she treats you like the Devil. Sheesh, women. I didn't understand them. I grabbed a drink and downed it in one huge gulp. I quickly grabbed another one and did the same thing. I wasn't going to sulk just because my supposed girlfriend wasn't speaking to me.
A few more drinks later I was much more relaxed and ready to party.

THE NEXT MORNING
Julianna's point of view

"Ugh," I groaned as I rolled over in my bed.
Hangover from hell definitely. That'll teach me to drink too much.
I looked at my arm across my stomach.
Wait, since when did my arm have so much hair? My eyes widened as I saw that the arm was attached to a body that was not my own.
Shit. Shit. Shit.
I looked under my comforter and immediately pulled it up to my chin.
Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.
"Uh oh."
Horrible hangover + familiar blond guy + lack of any clothes = total and complete disaster.
