After Nick went on tour and Liz went back to school, they tried to keep their relationship going. Unfortunately, Liz was very busy with schoolwork and Nick was busy with touring. The phone calls became less frequent, the e-mails subsided, and they soon began to grow apart. In the middle of October, Nick and Liz came to a mutual decision; they were better off as friends. Even though they deeply cared for each other, they knew that it wasn’t fair to either one to continue the relationship as it was. In early November Liz began dating a guy she met at college named Brad, and soon after, Nick began dating a girl named Kelly, who was one of the BSB dancers.
This story picks up in mid-December. Nick’s tour is coming to an end and Liz is finally on Christmas break.
