~*Chapter 9*~
She ran home and changed into her night clothes. A little flahier, a little sexier, and a little more attention-getting. She went to the guy's and made herself dinner which she shared with Mike and Trevor. "You cannot come over here and eat our food without sharing it little Angelina!" "Quit being oh so charming, Trevor!" "Ha ha ha." "Damn Angie!" "Shut up Erik!" Angelina hated being gawked at. Erik had just come out of his room and looked none-too-bad himself. "Don't think I am dressed like this for you, buddy." Erik ran and picked her up over his shoulder. "Ha! It's like ultimate weight-lifting!" "Aaaa-ssshley! Erik is abusing me!" They finally left when Lou and Marc got there. "Hey Mr. Pearlman!" She said sweetly. "Hello Angelina!" In the car they talked about their first kisses. Ashley looked at Angelina who smiled with an idea. She would tell about her first kiss, since Ash hadn't said anything. "Okay, y'all top this. I was like, six and me and Ash were watching a soap with his mom and we saw these two people kissing. So I was like 'ooh!' And Ash was like 'ew!' And then I was like 'Ashwee, you have to do that eventuawawy!' And he's like 'do not!' So I told him if he didn't practise with me he had to practise with Midge - this nasty bully across the street from us. She was SO mean - but anyways so he was like 'fine'. So when his mom went to get something, we kissed. It was slow and passionate, and Ashley wrapped his arms around me and slid his hands --OW! Ashley!" They were all cracking up by now - even Ashley. He was used to Angie's joking. She used to use it when she was upset to hide her feelings. Maybe she was doing it now. About 20 minutes after they arrived at the plaza strip, Paul had met three pretty girls. Since Angie was getting a piggy-back from Ashley, they gave her pretty mean looks. "Hi, I'm Angelina. Hey, don't glare at me, I'm with the band!" Then she laughed with that pretty laugh that sounded like bells. Ashley and Paul laughed too. When they got home from dinner, it was late and Ash walked Angie home again. "That was fun, Ash, thanks." "Hey Angie, how do you remember our kiss?" "I remember every single day we spent together Ash. You kept me from depression. I don't think you understand that you actually saved me. I was so upset, all the time. And my dad -" She started crying. Ashley hugged her like he always did when she cried about her dad. They stood there for five minutes. They guys watched from their window. "So, he claims there ain't nothing there, eh?" Bryan asked skeptically. "Yup, he sure is good at deciving himself." "So, you guys don't think I'll be able to make a move?" "Shut up Erik!" Seven voices said.
