~*Kissing With O-Town*~

We asked the five way-kissable guys from O-Town to give us the inside scoop on all things smooching--and boy did they ever! Maybe they should have named the show Making The Move instead of Making The Band! by. Marissa Sandora

TWIST:

WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST KISS LIKE?

ASHLEY:

I was in this play in the eighth grade with a girl I'd known since, like, the third grade. We did rehearsals every single day after school for four months, and one day we go into the science room after school. We're just talking, and she comes up to me and just starts kissing me. It was the first french kiss I ever had. When we came out of it, I couldn't think of anything to say. I was like, "What was that?!" And she said, "That was a kiss." I was speechless because I was so freaked out. It was so embarrassing because I wasn't expecting it, and I felt my face get all flushed and red. So I just turned around and walked out. I just took off!

TREVOR:

I was also in the eight grade.

JACOB:

Dude! I was too!

TREVOR:

It was the lastt day of school, and that was the day this girl and I decided to be b/f and g/f. It was after school, and I was saying goodbye to her, and that's when the first kiss happened. It got quiet, you know, the whole quiet moment, and you're just sitting there and then you like, lean in, and it happened. It was fun. I enjoyed it!

TWIST:

HOW'D YOU LEARN HOW TO KISS?

ERIK:

I seriously learned about kissing from the soap operas my mom watched.

TREVOR:

I never had a friend who was like, "Hey, Let me show you how to kiss."

JACOB:

I acually did.

TREVOR:

i wish I did. I wish it was one of my sister's friends, 'cause they were hot!

TWIST:

SO JACOB, YOU HAD A FRIEND LIKE THAT?

JACOB:

Yeah, we were like, "Hey, let's practice." I'm not counting that as a first kiss though.

TWIST:

DID ANYOONE EVERY PRACTICE ON A PILLOW OR ON YOUR HAND?

DAN:

The only person. I know who would do that is trevor. You did didn't you?

TREVOR:

Yeah, of course I did [laughing]

ASHLEY:

I lose more respect for him every day! No, that's not fair...I practiced on a pillow, too.

TREVOR:

I didn't pratice on a pillow, but I practiced on my hand.

ANDREA (TWIST READER):

WHAT MAKES A GIRL A GOOD KISSER?

TREVOR:

We'll, her lips, first of all. She's got to know how to use them.

ASHLEY:

She's got to be relaxed. If she's totally nervous, it's never a good kiss.

ERIK:

I think it's the ability to really feel the person she's kissing and not treat that person like she's anyone else.

DAN:

I think the energy between the two people make a good kiss. One person might be a good kisser with this guy, but not that one--it's the energy that two people have with each other that makes it good.

TWIST

HOW CAN A GIRL LET YOU GUYS KNOW THAT SHE WANTS TO BE KISSED?

TREVOR:

The best sigh for me is when she says, "Can I have a kiss?"

ASHLEY:

If a girl wants to be kissed, she lets off those vibes naturally without trying. If she's playing with her hair, or if she's leaning in close to you,, or she's making extreme eye contact with you, you can just tell if it's going to go there. It's just like a natural sign.

TREVOR:

Girls should make the first move--It's the year 2000!

TWIST:

DO YOU LIKE IT WHEN THE GIRLS MAKE THE FIRST MOVE?

ERIK:

Yes! [agreement all around]

DAN:

I like it 'cause I'm scared! I'm so scared! It makes it so much easier.

ERIK:

I think sometimes guys can be a little intimidated by girls. Girls give such an arua, it makes them seem so untouchable to guys, so guys can't really bring themselves to kiss them.

ASHLEY:

I think it's cool when the girl makes the first move.

TWIST:

DO YOU KISS GIRLS GOOD-BYE ON THE FIRST DATE?

ASHLEY:

It totally depends on how the date goes. You know on the first date wheather or not you're hitting it off. So I think if you know in your mind that it isn't going to go anywhere, then you shouldn't. But if you're totally hitting it off with somebody and you're like, Yeah, I want to see this again, then go for it. If it feels right, it will happen.

TREVOR:

I agree with exactly what Ashley said.

DAN:

Me too. Good one, Ash.

ANDREA:

IF YOU COULD SMOOCH ANYONE, WHO WOULD IT BE?

JACOB:

Angelina Jolie.

ASHLEY:

And the reason is?

JACOB:

Perfect lips.

DAN:

I'd kinda like to kiss Janet Jackson.

TREVOR:

Jennifer Lopez.

ERIK:

Destiny's Child, all of them.

TREVOR:

Britney.....definitly Britney.

TWIST:

DOES ANYONE HAVE AN EMBARRASSING KISSING STORY?

ASHLEY:

When I was 16, I had kissed this girl good-night and gotten lipstick all over my face. I went home right afterward and walked right into the living room where my whole family was chillin' watching TV, and they all look at me and ask, "What's all over your lips?" I'm like, "What? nothing." And I look in the mirror we had in our living room and--this is champ timing, too--immediatly I was like, "Oh, I just ate a blueberry pie." And they were like, "Oh, Okay." It looked exactly like blueberry pie!

TWIST:

WHAT WAS THE ABSOLUTE WORST KISS OF ALL TIME?

DAN

It was my second kiss ever, and when we finally went in for the kiss, we hit teeth pretty bad! At that point, you don't know whether to blame her, or whether she's blaming you, so you're kinda thinking, I hope she thinks that she did it 'cause I don't want to be the one responsible. It was pretty bad though. I think she chipped my tooth!

ERIK:

One time, I hooked up with this girl and she sucked my bottom lip so hard, it was numb!

TWIST:

JACOB, HOW ABOUT YOU? ANY BAD KISSES?

JABOB:

No, I'm a great kisser.[laughter]

DAN:

Listen to this guy!***
