Atomvinter started playing in the early 90s. Everything released so far has been recorded by them selves.
The first line-up Consisted of Andréaz (voice, guitar), Christer (drums) and Peter (bass), who also has been playing with Christer in The Moonies. Peter left due to his lack of interest in punk and Joel (drums) and Christian (guitar) joined so Christer could abuse the bass while Andréaz could focus on the vocals. Some rehearsaltapes were recorded but not released. Joel and Christian left so Andréaz and Christer did some recordings with drummachine and tried a drummer who just didn´t feel right. In 92 Micke (guitar) joined, Andréaz took the bass and Christer was back behind the drums. This line-up recorded the debut CD released by Distortion. Some of the songs found on the CD can also be found on the compilation CD "Things that make no sense". Andréaz felt unkomfortable playing bass while singing so Brink joined and the songs for the 10" split with Svart Snö and some compilations were recorded. Brink hurt his hand some days before a gig in Malmö so Joel promised to help out with the bass and it worked out fine. After a while Brink lost interest and left the band. Peter from Disorganized started playing bass. Later he got replaced by Joel who can be heard on our latest recordings.

New material has been recorded but not completed. The plan is to maybe release something someday. No more illusions. We´re just too slow and lazy to get something done in time.
