Entertainment-Rewired is centered in Pittsburgh. We did not personally interview Ms. Amber, but one of her friends, who wishes to remain anonymous, works for her father, all this is explained in the first part of the interview at www.entertainment-rewired.com/realitybites.htm . We just found out that Amber did not know she was being interviewed, they were just having casual lunch. The contributing writer was acting more like a scooper, who just reports things that shouldn't. It was not an official interview. We are talking with Amber right now, we sent her the interview requesting whether or not she feels comfortable with it online. We just wanted to clear this up since we've been receiving emails from you guys...

"Brkich (who has been dating Westminster senior Derek Baumgartner, 21, for two years) was an extra in last year's Wonder Boys and, notes Kronk (family friend), "she can be an actress. If she needs to be mean and conniving, she can be mean and conniving".

OTHER SURVIVORS TALKED ABOUT AMBER

Jerri Manthey said in Howard Stern that she liked Amber and that Amber was quiet but nice.

Alicia Calaway said in KDKA: "She's an amazing girl. A lot of morals. She may be young, but her future is very bright. She's a really smart girl. I liked her a whole lot. We exchange e-mail often and pictures and stuff and she's great."

In an interview, Mitchell Olson, said that the cameras and the editing made them (he and Amber) looked like they were followers of Jerri but they're not.

Maralyn "Mad Dog" Hershey sings about Amber and other Ogakor members. She sung it in The Early Show. Here's the part where Amber was included: "Keith and Tina are my constellations; Mitch is the star. Kel's a young buck with no imagination; Jerri -- la-di-da. Amber is the sweetest beauty, pure of heart and soul."

Kel Gleason said this in an interview: "You hang out with people who are similar to you. You don't hang out with people who are different from you. I knew that, obviously, before Survivor, but it was very much emphasized to me when I saw the group dynamics of the game. Here I am, an army guy, mixed in with an aspiring actress; a secretary with the voice of Britney Spears — she sings all the time, they don't show that, but she does — ; Marilyn, an ex-cop; Keith, a chef; Mitch, a singer-songwriter — a whole different crew of people from me. Some people are made to get along with each other, others are not."

Richard Hatch, the winner of the first Survivor also said: "Kel told me today that AMBER is a very cute girl with a voice like BRITNEY SPEARS. But we haven't seen much of her over the past two episodes. That makes me wonder, why not? Kel was low on the radar for the first show, but took center stage and was ousted this week. I predicted to watch for that because MARK BURNETT had told me he wanted more surprises in the show than in my "Survivor" last summer. This makes me wonder about Amber. I noticed something determined in her eyes this episode, so I've made a note to watch for big things to come with her over the next few weeks. I suggest you keep your eyes on her too."

Dirk Been of Survivor 1 said in E! Online: "I love Amber. She has had a tough road, first falling in with Jerri--having everyone go behind her back and vote Jerri off, then spending $200 on river water--how disappointing is that? You're starving, smelling that food, knowing it's there, and then you get stuck with that. It's almost nothing...it is nothing." More here.

AMBER AND THE SEVERE WEATHER

An article from Amber's hometown says, "Last fall while filming Survivor: The Australian Outback, Beaver native Amber Brkich encountered rocks that were difficult to maneuver around and weather that varied in extremes. One day it was raining and everyone wore jackets. The next day it was 115 degrees."
