Nick was talking to Kevin, or rather yelling at him.
" How could this happen? He was fine. It's Brie's fault. She didn't do her job, she didn't help him and look where he is now."
"She said that he would be ok, she lied. This is all her fault."
I being behind them a little ways behind Nick, had heard most of it. Kevin saw me a little before Nick was done talking. I left as Nick finished his last word. Kevin was staring at where I had stood. Nick had noticed this and had this look on his face. Nick turned and saw nothing.
" What are you looking at? I was talking to you and you haven't heard anything I've said for the past minute or two. There is nothing there.”
Well, there was. While you were blowing off your little speech, Brie walked in and heard your last part, and she just ran off. You know what? You are so inconsiderate of others... This was not her fault at all!"
Meanwhile, Nick had this look of disgust on his face and got even madder at what Kevin had said. He was staring to make fists with his hands.
" For your information, she is the one who tried to save his life back there at the station. Remember? She deserves a lot a credit."
After hearing this, he turned and thought it over a few minutes and realized that Kevin had been right all along.
" Wait... She is the one that comforted me when this nightmare began. Now looked what I've done." Kevin finally cooled off and said, " Go, apologize. You know, she might be gone forever."

On the way running out, I ran into AJ, almost knocking him over. He saw me in tears and was concerned immediately.
" What is wrong Brie?"
"Nick said that this was all my fault and I should have saved Brian the first time and this would have never have happened... I came in on his conversation with Kevin."
I turned and wiped my eyes
"Is that true?"
" Now, you know that is not true" turning my head.
" Well, maybe it is."
He tried to calm me down. I asked him why Nick said all those terrible things and why he did it. He talked to me for a little while and finally calmed me down.
