The past year has seemed to have flown by so quickly. In a way, none of us wanted it to come to an end. We had made the decision to come back together, regroup and get things rolling again. Having that time to get refreshed and reenergized was exactly what we needed.

Things were definitely going to be different for now on. We were going to be the ones in charge and making the decisions. We were going to have the right people working for us and therefore, there was not going to be any second guessing or anything shady going on; especially without our knowledge. We all knew one person that stood out above all the rest. She was the key to our success. We knew we had to get her back, somehow, some way.

While all the legal stuff was going on, we discovered a lot of things that Johnny had done that we had no knowledge of. One, being the real reason Brie was fired. We couldn’t believe it when we found out. It was ludicrous! Jealousy is like an evil worm that sneaks in and wraps itself around you. Johnny, was upset because he thought that Brie was getting to close and friendly with us and letting her job go by the way side. Only he didn’t see that she was capable of doing both at the same time. He also believed that she shouldn’t be having that kind of relationship with us anyways; to him, it wasn’t professional. Especially, since I think he starting seeing that things were changing between her and Nick. Then, when Shelly found out that Johnny was taking the money, she blackmailed him into getting Brie fired. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out why that happened either. Howie, always thought she was a bit off…

So, back to the beginning, we go. We needed a fresh start, beginning with new management. We had to build it from the ground up to make sure that we had what we wanted: people that were loyal and honest and who were actually really looking out for our best interests. I have to admit, it was tough. You can never trust people in this business, man. It’s just a fact.

With that said, we had to get Brie back. Only that was going to be a little tricky, because no one knew where she was. The only number that anyone had was from a phone that management had given her and it was disconnected. Knowing, Johnny, he probably made her give it back. So.. we are left to find a needle in hay stack. After almost of month of trying, we were ready to give up. We pretty much assumed that we weren’t going to find her. It was a major disappointment but what could we do? Nothing… Then, Fatima paid us a visit and we told her about our plans to bring Brie back on board. She was over joyed at the news and then to our astonishment, she gave us the lead we needed. She had remembered where Brie was flying to, when she left. Thank God!

It took a little time, but we finally found her. She didn’t have a listed number but Kevin ended up finding what we figure were her parents and called them. Her mother didn’t have her phone number but she gratefully passed on her address and we were on our way. Things were finally starting to look up. Once she was back, things would finally get more back to normal. Boy, we missed her. …
