Morgan and Cassie sat in the gymnasium waiting for the pep rally to start.

The basketball coach walked up to the microphone in the middle of the gym and began to introduce the boys basketball team. As he called their names, they ran out into the middle of the gym "Brian Owens, Jack Turner, Tim Willis, Mike Mitchell, John Banks, Matthew Elliot, Trent Waters, Calvin Williams, Austin Lamar, Colin Richards, Peter Stetson, Ron Jackson, Ted Tatum, Kurt Lewis, and last but definitely not least, the star of the game, Nick Carter."

"I knew he would make the team," Cassie said.

"No doubt that he would. I just want to say one thing concerning you and Nick," Morgan said.

"What might that be?" Cassie asked.

"I told you so." Morgan answered.

"You two took long enough to get together," Reuben said, who was sitting on the other side of her.

"You know what?" Cassie said.

"What?" both Reuben and Morgan asked at the same time.

"I think me and Nick took just long enough."

Nick winked and blew a kiss to Cassie from the middle of the gym. Cassie smiled and blew one back.
