Sky took a deep breath, trying to calm her nerves. She was in gymnastics class, about to try her best at a cartwheel on the balance beam.
She went to pat down her already perfectly smooth hair, pulled neatly back into a tight ponytail.
Sky pulled herself onto the beam. Her heart beating faster than it had for a long time, she ran forward and spun in the air.
But for the first time in her life, something didn't come naturally to Sky.
She fell with a thud to the mat.
She landed on her left leg.
Hard.

The balance beam had never been her favorite activity, but she had to do what she had to do.
"Owwww! Holy shit! Oh my god! Owww! Shit!" Nick Carter screamed in pain.
"What the hell is up your butt?" Brian Littrell asked him.
"Oh my God! What the hell? No, Bri, you don't understand. Oww! I dunno what happened! I was just sitting here and I got..owww! The biggest fucking pain...oww! In my leg!"
"Whoa, are you okay?" Brian asked, now starting to realize how excruciating the pain Nick was going through really was.
"Oh shit! Brian, tell Dave to take us to the hospital cuz, SHIT, this is really bad!"

"Is it really bad?" Sky asked the doctor.

"Are you sure?" Nick asked in disbelief.
"It's broken," she replied examining Sky's blown up leg again.
"Great, just great." Sky muttered. She sighed, "I guess this means no class for awhile, right?"
"If your referring to gymnastics, then yes sweetie. I'm sorry."
Sky sighed, "Thanks."
"I'm sure. You're leg is definitely broken son." the doctor told him.
"But, how could this happen? I was just sitting there playing Nintendo! You can't break a leg playing Nintendo!"
"I don't know son, but you're leg is broken."
