In the morning, no one said anything to Jen. She 'floated' to the shower; got out and got dressed. She felt numb and did not want to leave. As she was putting her shoes on, the phone rang. She picked it up.

"Hello?" she asked.

"Jen?" she recognized the voice immediately. Nick.

"Hey," Jen said, relieved to hear his voice.

"What time are you guys leaving?" he asked.

"I think we're leaving about 10:00. What time is it now?"

"I think about 8:50. Anyways, I'll be over there in a little while. I love you," he said.

"I love you too," she replied.

Now, she was about to cry. She hung up the phone. She was scared he was going to leave in two weeks for their late summer tour and meet some pretty girl on the tour and forget about her. But, he had just said 'I love you'.

She finished packing and took her stuff down to the car. She looked at her watch, 9:48. He should be here about now. She walked back up to her room and checked it over again. She had left her pillow. She went back down to the front desk and gave them her key. As she was walking to the car, Nick drove up. The tears were coming now.

"Hey," he yelled. He could tell she was crying. He ran up to her.

"Don't cry. I've got an idea," he said.

"What? What are you talking about Nick?" she asked.

"I've talked to Denise and the guys. Do you want to come on tour with us in three weeks?" he asked.

"I've got school," she replied.

"No. We've got a tutor waiting. She's got a teaching degree. Even I can help you, I've graduated remember?" he said, all excited about his plan.

"I'd have to talk with my parents and they're probably have to talk to Denise," she said, feeling a little bit of Nick's own excitement.

"We can call her right now," he said bringing out his cell phone.

So, after fifteen minutes of Denise persuading her parents and telling them that Jen would be taken care of, her parents gave in and let her go. But, not before her dad gave her one condition: she had to go home with her parents now, until the tour started.

"Fair enough," said Nick and grabbed Jen.

Jen couldn't believe she was going on tour with Nick and the boys and she wasn't going to school either. She was going to be with Nick.
