~!chapter ten!~

With JC

JC punched the gas as he drove home in a quick speed. He needed to let out some steam because of the pain that he was feeling. How could Deanna do this to him? He knew that they weren't officially a couple but he did think that she liked him. Who was that guy? Her boyfriend? If she had a boyfriend, then why did she let a kiss go on between them? More thoughts raced through his head as he continued to drive home.

After a long drive around the city, he decided that he didn't want to go home anyway. It was the first place that everyone would suspect he would return to and he didn't want to face anyone at the moment. He kept all the anguish inside of him, though it was bursting to break through that he just wanted to let out a large scream. He pulled into a deserted parking lot that they were about to tare down and turned the car around. He sped off to the only place that he knew in the town, the fountain where they sat together just that night before. If Justin came out looking for him he knew that he would never think of the place. Justin knew this city as well as he did and that wasn't pretty well. It was safe he told himself, as he continued to drive back to the college campus.

Deanna, Emily, and Justin (Deanna's P.O.V.)

Emily kept her eyes on the road as Justin sat in the passengers seat, pointing out directions to lead them to the hotel. I barely heard his soothing voice call out the turns and streets. I was too wrapped up in my own thoughts. Many questions scrambled around my mind that I couldn't figure out the answers too. It was my life, I thought that I should be able to answer any question that came in my way. My life was fine when I was single then all of a sudden two guys jumped in my way at the same time. I didn't know how I would explain Jeremy to JC, it was all sudden and coincidental that Jeremy came, that JC came at the same time I was kissing him. I leaned against the door as I put my elbow on the rest and my chin in the palm of my hand as I stared out the window, just thinking to myself.

I heard the car come to a stop when I was startled from being wrapped up in myself. I heard the Emily slam her door shut and Justin in front of me step out. I snapped out of my daze and pushed the front seat forward so I could get out. I began to sprint, passing up Emily and Justin as I stood at the hotel door and strived to open the door with all my might. I finally figured out that I was so involved with getting to the building that it was a push door. So I calmed down and straightened my appearance a I lightly pushed the door and stepped into the lobby. I looked through the glass windows and saw that Justin and Emily were right behind me, but struggling to keep up. It then hit me that I had no clue what room they were staying in. I began pacing around the room as I waited impatiently for them to arrive into the hotel. Right as Justin and Emily were getting close, someone yelled, "Oh My God it's Justin!". I looked out to see a million little girls, that were staying in the hotel, rush towards him as soon as he got through the door. They were in no reach of getting to me as I watched them get trampled and ganged up on. Emily and him were trapped. I could see his lips moving, trying to tell me something over the loud screams and gasping of the 'I love you' and the 'will you marry me' all directed to Justin's attention.

"It's room 313 on the third floor," he screamed at the top of his lungs. I thought to myself, 313, 313, 313. I ran to the elevator and pushed the 3 button. It slowly started to rise and I tapped my foot impatiently. Once the elevator had stopped at floor 2, it made it's final stop at floor 3. I stepped out of the elevator and looked for a sign. Rooms 300-310 go right. Rooms 311-325 go left. I turned left and sprinted down the hallway looking at each room number before I passed the door. I found 313 sitting right near the corner of the hallways meeting as I stood in front of it and let out a large sigh. I put my hand up to my shoulder getting ready to knock the door. The same questions rummaged through my head as my hand slowly made it's way to knock the door.

Emily and Justin (Emily P.O.V.)

Before I could ever think of taking a next move, Justin and I were surrounded by a mob of girls, all wanting the same thing, Justin. Screams louder than I had ever heard were right in my ear that made it ring. Girls were grabbing and reaching just to get one little touch of the famous pop singer, pushing and stepping, not caring about the other around them. I heard him yell to Deanna his room number and off she went. I was stuck in the mob of girls with no where to run to. The funny thing was, if I had not met Justin the way that I did, I would be in this whole mess of screaming girls too. But that was different now.

Justin tried to manage all of them, but it wasn't working. He tried taking tiny steps, moving a centimeter closer to the elevators but the group followed him, doing the exact movement. I kept getting father and farther from his as the girls clutched onto my body, pulling me away. I felt one strong, forceful hand on my shoulder and the power that the person had sent me plummeting to the ground. I heard a loud smack as my face fell first and hit the hard, white floor with the crack of my knee. I let out a large moan because I felt girls climbing over me and began to scream, joining the chorus of girls. It was a more serious need scream though because I was hopeless. Justin took one look around and realized I wasn't there anymore. He yelled stop as loud as he could, but still nothing happened. Being as powerful as he was still could not stop a group of girls from getting what they wanted. I was stuck at the bottom of a stampede and there was no one there to help me. Then I heard from the distance helpers who worked at the hotel race over there, shouting for them to back away.

Hotel Room (Deanna's P.O.V.)

I waited patiently for the door to open as I caught my breath. I heard some foot steps and a large black man answered the door. I must have knocked at the wrong door because I have never seen this guy before. I felt so stupid for the guy stood so much taller and so much bigger. I looked at the room number. Sure enough, it was 313. Maybe Justin had said 213. My thoughts were interrupted suddenly.

"Can I help you ma'am?" he said in a low, deep voice.

"Um...yeah. I'm looking for JC." I managed to say as I stared at the man.

"And you are?" he answered.

"I'm Deanna. His girlfr........ his friend." I replied. Just then Lance came to the door. He told the man that it was okay and that I really did know JC. I found out that the man was their body guard. No wonder he answered the door. I also told the bodyguard that Justin was down there getting swarmed by girls. He nodded and went over to the elevator as I watched him disappear from around the corner. When he was gone out of the corner of my eye I drew my attention back to Lance who was standing in the doorway with his shoulder leaned against it and an apple in his other hand.

"JC's not here. The last time he was here was when he and Justin went over to you guy's dorm. He hasn't been home since." Lance finally said.

"Great! Just my luck." I said sarcastically.

"Why isn't he with you, Justin, and Emily? You guys have a fight or something?" he questioned.

"Well, yea kind of. Look, I'll explain later, but right now I have to find him. Any ideas?" I asked sounding hopeful.

"Not really. We're new to this town, there's not many places he could be. The only things he knows around here are the campus and the hotel." Lance stated. It hit my head like a bunch of arrows aiming for a target. I could only think of the one spot that he could be and I was determined to get there in a minutes flash. My heart started aching as I told Lance thank you. I left as soon as he closed the door and turned around the corner to go get Justin and Emily.
