"Justin will you stop flirting with Ali and get your butt over here you're late!"

"Oh, (now it was Justin who was blushing) sorry about that Jc we had some trouble down at main floor cause I couldn't give my name."

"And why couldn't you give your name? We're in a hospital for goodness sake."

"Well, there was a brownie troop downstairs because one of the girls had a reaction to a bee-sting and I couldn't help but hear them going on and on about us and this one girl actually said she wanted be to be her first!"

"Her first what? She was probably only eight years old!" exclaimed Ali who was shocked by this news, but completely embarrassed by her outburst!

"Well when I kept listening she had meant the first celebrity she wanted to meet, but at least I know you have a voice and a very nice one at that."

"Again with the flirting will you stop Justin! Ok fine so you had to wait till they left or something?"

"Yea, they just left so I came up here as soon as I could. Do you want something to eat? Are you ok?"

"Well no thanks to you my hunger has ceased, Ali picked me up a bagel." Justin was about to say something to her, but Jc gave him a look that definitely told him not to continue. "I am so sorry for being so rude. Justin this is my hospital roomie Jack and his best bud Ali."

"It's really nice to meet." Justin shook both of their hands and sat down in the chair next to Ali.

"Listen Justin, are the others coming tonight?"

"Yea, they are all cominglater after like seven I think."

"Ok, that should be fine."

"Hey I was wondering you do need me to leave or something I mean I know how privacy is a big thing and a hospital should provide. So if you want I could come when you dont have visitors or I could. . ."

"Hey Ali, I like you and besides you were very nice to me when you didn't have to be. So you're fine in my book."

"Thanks." Ali blushed again.

They spent the next hour or so talking about themselves and what they have done. By now they we all watching tv when the door swung open and in walked three other guys. Jc rolle over to give mini hugs and do the intros.

"Lance, Joey, Chris this is Jack andAli. Jack and Ali this is . . ."

In unison Jack and Ali said, "we know." Everyone smiled.

"So, Jc good one we are all so proud you managed to ruin your leg!" shouted Chris.

"Well, it is so nice to see that you care about me." Jc rolled his eyes.

It was now about 7:30 and everyone seemed uncomfortable, so being the little icebreaker she was Ali offered to go pick up dinner for everyone. She took down everyones orders and was out the door until Justin stoped her.

"Hey Ali I'll come with you. You wont be able to carry all our orders by yourself."

"Yes, I noticed how much you fellas eat."

"Hey, we are growing boys we hafta keep strong."

"Well if any of you grow any more you won't be able to clear the door. Well maybe everyone, but Chris." She quickly turned away and realized what she had done. Before she could move from the doorway Joey pounced onto her back.

"Dude I really like this girl. Too bad you aren't a guy you could replace Chris his material is getting kinda old."

"Hey I resent that phat one! And that was good Ali we'll have to keep you around." Chris smiled. Ali was so releaved that he wasn't mad at her.

"Ok we'll be back soon." Justin said as he put his arm around Ali and pulled her out the door. "Sorry but I had to get out of there."

"Whats the matter you didn't like my joke?"

"No that's not it. Your joke was fine, but it was the atmosphere in there I had to get you out!"

"Why they don't like me?"

"No yet again, but I know them and if you stayed in there any more they would have teared you to pieces."

"I'm sorry, but I do not follow."

"Well, you just showed your true colors for the first time and we all liked them which means they would have kept you in there till breakfast making jokes and laughing at everything."

"That doesn't seem bad."

"Believe me it can get real stupid and wacky."

"Well I still do not understand the bad part, but thankyou for looking out for me." Ali really had not understood what the hell Justin was talking about, but he seemed like he didn't know what he was tlaking about and it really flattered Ali.

"Ahh, where's the dinner." Justin was very glad Ali had bought his story. He was worried she would have laughed in his face. He didn't understand why he had forced Ali out of the room, but he knew that it felt right to be alone with her.

"Here we are." The dinner was small and old-fashioned, but it was perfect for what they needed. That was good food fast!

"This is not exactly my kinda place."

"What do you mean be that. I know this is not exactly a fancy-smancy reasturent,but dont knock it until you try it."

Ali was obviously getting a lot more comfortable and the more I talk to her the more I like her. But I cannot do this again. I can't trust again so easily! God, I thought I had learned by now. I'm just not ready, but Ali sure is wonderful. No! I just met her like 6 hours ago how can I feel this way already! Justin's thoughts were interrupted by Ali's voice.

"Hello? Justin! Earth to Justin!" Ali was waving her had in front of his face.

"Sorry I was thinking about what to get." Justin lyed. But he couldn't say oh I was just thinking about how much I like you already.'

"Well ok then. Here lets take that booth and order. That way we can eat and order their stuff at the same time that way nothing gets cold."

"Don't you think they'll mind us eating first, Ali?"

"I dont think so I mean we're here we might as well eat during the time it takes to make thier food."

"I can't argue with a girl who is right!"

They sat down at a far booth just to be safe and ordered their food.
