"Now Lance darling, I know exactly what you want to do and I assure you that it will not provide relaxation." Katie smiled.

"Well please." Lance pleaded.

"Lance, Ali needs us." Katie explained to him.

"Oh come on. She'll be fine! It's not like she hasn't done this before." Lance shot back.

"What the hell is that supposed to mean. If I saw some girl hanging on your arm and I still had feelings for you, this is a hypothetical Lance relax, I would have done a lot more then run away." Lance wrapped his arms around Katie's stomach resting his head on her shoulder.

"Alright. Let's take the elevator to the next floor." Lance swerved Katie down the hall towards the elevator and pushed the button. Lance started kissing Katie's neck. "Come on," they walked into the elevator and immediately pushed the door close button.

Lance's kisses moved up her neck and met her at her lips. His kiss was soft and gentle at first, but it progressed into a deep passionate one. Her hands were moving up and down his back and his were ruffling her hair. His hands traveled down her back and he let them rest on her butt.

Katie giggled as he moved them. It made Lance pull away from her for a minute. "What did I do?" Lance asked her.

"Nothing, it's just wha-" Katie was stopped by the sudden lurch and the elevator stopped. "What was that?" Katie backed away from Lance's grasp.

Lance was obviously very annoyed by the interruption, "it doesn't matter. We probably are just picking up a lot of people. Look," Lance pushed the door open button but nothing happened. The tried the call button, "I'm sorry our elevators are experiencing an electrical problem. Please stay calm. The delay will only last 35 minutes. Sorry." The voice went off. "There is our answer. Great, well where were we?"

"What are you thinking Lance?" Katie knew exactly what he was thinking.

"I know that I love you and that if your ready I am." Lance grabbed Katie's hand.

"I've been waiting all by life for you. But not here Lance. Not like this. I know we're just caught up in the moment and that we love each other. I want it to be something wonderful. You know I'm right." Katie took her hands to his cheeks and forced him to look eye to eye with her.

Lance reluctantly shook his head ‘yes' and kissed her lips. As he did the elevator came back on. "I guess my kiss is really powerful." Lance smiled proudly.

"I know it baby," Katie took a hold of his hand and waited for the doors to open.

~*~*~ With the guys ~*~*~

"Justin come here for a minute." Jc wasn't asking he was demanding.

Justin trotted over to where he was standing. "What?"

"Please tell me exactly what happened,"

"Look, we were walking back to ya'll and she was like ‘Justin I have to tell you something' so I stopped walking and waited for what she had to say. She started to say something like ‘Justin I still' but that girl came and mistook me for her boyfriend and Ali ran off before she could explain."

"That's all? Justin tell me the flat out truth. Do you still love her?" Jc asked.

"I never stopped. She's the one that hurt me." Justin turned away.

"Well you don't know exactly what happened." Jc answered.

"What does that mean?" Justin snapped back.

"Well I think you're stupid to say no to a friendship that may grow to rekindle the love you guys had." Jc didn't mean for Justin to answer because he went back to the group to say, "ok, Lance and Katie are gone too now so I don't want anyone else to go. Ali will come find us." Just as Jc finished saying that Ali walked slowly up to the group. She rested her head on Chris's shoulder.

"Speak of the angel," Joey said she did.

"Suck up!" Chris shouted at him.

"Ahh, Chris that was my ear." Ali stuck her lip out to make Chris feel even worse. "Never mind doesn't matter."

"Can't we just go home?" Whined Joey.

"I saw Katie and Lance get into an elevator, but it's stuck right now with just them in it. Come on it should get out over here." Jc was shocked with Ali's spirits but didn't question her information so he followed her. They turned two corners and Ali stopped them in front of elevator doors. "The elevator should open in like two minutes." Ali was obviously worn out because she assumed a position sitting against the wall. Chris sat next to her and stroked her hair.

The elevator doors opened to find Lance and Katie kissing and their clothes rumpled and out of place. "I wanna go in the elevator first! Outta my way. I'm going in I'm going in!" Chris jumped up and ran into the elevator. As he saw what Katie and Lance were still in the act and so Chris screamed, "Get me outta here! I'm getting out I'm getting out!" Chris ran right out of the elevator. Everyone was in hysterics. Even Ali cracked a smile.

"Don't you guys knock?" Lance said as he helped Katie up.

"It's an elevator," Justin pointed out.

"Well ya know," Lance couldn't think of a comeback so he stopped talking.

"Come on guys it's been a long day. Let's go home." Jc slung his arm around Ali's shoulder and the seven of them went to the car.

"Wait. I can't leave without saying good bye to John," Ali slide out from under Jc's arm, grabbed Katie's hand and the two of them headed towards his room before anyone could object. "Do you mind coming? I just can't go alone." Ali told Katie.

"Naw girl, I wanna see him for the LAST time as well," Ali smiled at Katie's joke and knocked on John's door. She heard a soft ‘come in' from inside so she and Katie did. John was lying in the bed, but fully awake.

"Oh gosh, what are you umm doing here?" John asked nervously.

"Well, I wanted to say goodbye." Katie nodded to what Ali said.

"Look, I'm so sorry. I didn't know what I was doing. Maria is my wife though. I'm just so sorry I didn't mean to take advantage of you like that. You were a friend and I ruined it forever." John said softly.

"Yes, I think you did." Katie barged in.

"Never say never," Ali muttered.

"What?" John asked.

"I just mean you never know what will happen in the future. We'll just have to see in a while. Good bye John." Ali said and went out the door.

"Bye John," Katie said to him.

"Bye girls. Tell Ali again I'm sorry." Katie nodded and left.

"So miss Katie, what happened in the elevator with a certain blond haired hottie?" Ali asked.

"None of your business. No just kidding. Nothing actually. We kissed and that was it. The moment of temptation was there, but I want it to be special. You know?"

"Of course I know and I'm happy nothing really happened." The two walked back to the car in silence. Before they went over to the car completely Katie asked Ali, "you still love Justin don't you?"

"Is it that obvious." Ali let out a groan and put her head in her hands.

"Well to your best friend it is."

"I don't know what's wrong with me. He hurt me. He hurt me really bad and yet I still feel something towards him."

"We'll talk about it later ok? Let's go back to the guys now." Ali nodded and they both jogged the rest of the way to the car.

The trip was silent and boring. Ali drove with Joey next to her. When they reached Ali's house everyone went inside to the kitchen. "What would everyone like?" Ali asked. "Maybe we could order something really great like umm cheese steaks from Donna'a or something like that."

Joey's eyes widened at the sound of Donna's, it had become Joey's favorite restaurant. "Yes please can we do that?" He begged.

"Sure I'd like one too." Lance said. "Me too," Katie chimed in.

"Ok, any other takers?" Ali was writing down their orders.

"I'd like a cheese steak with everything but onions. That ok?" Jc asked her.

"Sure, ok I got everyone but Chris and Justin. What would you too like?"

"We both want cheese steaks with everything on them. Can we order onion rings and fries too? I'm starved." Chris suggested.

"Sounds great to me." Ali continued to write everything down and then placed the order. "They said 20 minutes. Who wants to come with me?" Ali asked the group as she made her way towards her keys.

"Can I come with you Ali?" Justin said as he emerged from his spot on the far stool.

"Yea sure let's umm go," Ali gave a confused look to Jc but hid it from Justin.

As they went towards the car Justin went around to the drivers side where Ali was headed, but he wasn't going to try to take the seat he was just opening the door for Ali. "Oh, thank you."

"No problem," he smiled. Ali smiled back but was totally confused. As they got settled in the car Justin asked, "can we stop at the park since we have 20 minutes to kill. I'd like to talk to you for a little bit."

"Ok, what about?"

"When we get to the park I'll explain."

So Ali drove the car into the park's parking lot and got out with Justin. As they walked over to a bench Justin took Ali's hand. "Justin what are you doing?"

"I want to apologize for earlier and everything. I also wanted to explain some things because I just can't loose you as a friend Ali. I'm sorry I said what I did about the subject I was just being a jerk."

"No argument there."

"That girl was not my girlfriend. She only saw the back of me and I, apparently, look like him from behind. It wasn't until after you ran off that she explained and apologized. I care for you Ali. I was just confused. Can we still have the friendship we used too?" Justin was staring into Ali's tear coated eyes.

"Yes Justin. I'd love that." Ali wrapped her arms around his neck and he breathed in the scent that had been so virgin to his nose for so long.

"Come on we gotta go get the food." Justin and Ali walked hand in hand to the car.

~*~*~ At home ~*~*~

"What was that about? Why?" Jc had been going on about why Justin wanted to go with Ali. Everyone was getting a little tired of the subject. Even though they all wanted to know the same answer.

"Jc, man stop stressing. Ali is big girl and Justin just wanted to have a chance alone with her."

"Ok, I just wish they would get home soon,"

"Did someone mention us?" Ali said laughing. "We have food!"

"Watch out Ali!" Justin yelled as he jumped in front of her anticipating Joey and Chris pouncing on her and the food. Just as he thought Joey and Chris came bounding up the stairs to grab at Ali and her bags of food. "Argh! Get off..."

"Let's all just go into the kitchen and have our dinner. Which is getting cold! Where are Katie and Lance?" Ali asked noticing that they weren't in the kitchen.

"They're upstairs in Katie's room," Joey explained.

"Chris will you please go in and tell them it's time to eat." Ali told him.

"No way! The only sport I don't like watching friends play is tonsil hockey! I don't want to see them practice anymore!!!" Chris ran to the table and sat down.

"I'll be right back." Joey went up the stairs to get them. Luckily for him they were just chilling so the three of them came down pretty fast.

As Ali was walking past Jc toward the garbage he pulled her aside to ask, "what happened with you two?"

"Nothing, he apologized for everything. We're ok now." Ali smiled and kissed his cheek.

"Ok, ok." Jc helped her with the extra dishes and set the table with her. Dinner was great. Everyone was talking and having a great time. The highlight was when Justin told a funny story and Joey and Chris both spit out their drinks at the same time on each other. Everyone was extremely tired and called it a day early and went to bed.

For the next three days they went out everyday. The first day was just to the mall. Everyone wanted to buy gifts for each other so they could be given out when it was time to say good bye. The next day they drove to the Bronx Zoo and spent the day there. Chris and Joey thought that the chimps were the funniest things alive until the chimps started pointing and laughing at them. Then they didn't like them too much anymore. The third day they decided to just do their own thing and spend the day relaxing. They all met up for a movie before bed.

On Saturday Ali and Katie came through with a brilliant idea. For Ali it would be a particularly wonderful idea. Or would it be?
