"I can't believe you haven't told her man!" Jc screamed at him.
"Cool it Jc this is my life," Justin turned away from him.
"This may be your life but Ali is my friend too and I care about her a lot." Jc said with pride. Ali smiled, but she was still in the dark about what they were talking about. "We have to leave tomorrow morning and you'll have to say goodbye to the women you love."
"Wait a sec who ever said I loved her? This was just a fling thing. She's a great kisser and well it was fun, but that's all it was." Justin said softly. Ali had to muffle the sob that was forming in her throat. Ali didn't stand to hear any more. She ran up into her room and locked the door. "What was that?" Justin asked.
"Nothing, but do not lie to me Justin. Tell me the truth do you love Ali?"
"Jc don't make me do this I promised I wouldn't ever fall..."
"I don't care what you promised, I want to know what you feel. You love her don't you?"
Justin nodded weakly. "Yes Jc I really love her. And it's even more then the way I felt about Kara. It's so deep and pure and I think I know that Ali feels the same way. I have to go talk to her."
"Yes man you do. Get your booty out of here you curly haired fool." Justin ran out the door up to Ali's room.
~*~*~ Ali's room ~*~*~
Ali sobbed into her pillow. She tried to contain herself because she didn't want anybody to hear her. She was about to go out the door to talk to Jc when there was a knock at her door.
"Ali? Can I come in please there is something I need to tell you."
"I DON'T WANT TO HEAR ANYTHING YOU HAVE TO SAY TO ME. JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!" Completely taken back from Ali's reaction he went into his room and shut the door. After about twenty minutes Ali went out of her room to see Jc. "Jc? You awake?" She said as she opened his door.
"Yea, I was just reading something."
"Can I talk to you please?"
"Of course, wait are you crying what happened?"
"Oh Jc I came down here to say good-night to you and you and Justin were in here so I was just going to wait until you were done and then I heard my name. I heard Justin say those horrible things I heard it all. He doesn't love me he just took advantage of me. I can't believe I feel for him." Ali walked over to Jc and buried her face in his sweatshirt.
"Ali you don't unders..." He was interrupted by Justin walking into the room.
"Ali you're here. What's wrong?"
"I have to go to bed g'night you guys." With that Ali ran out the door.
"What's going on Jc?"
"I don't know man I don't know," Jc had to lie to Justin there was no way he was going to loose Ali's trust now. They both went to bed early that night and packed in the morning.
~*~*~ 8 o'clock ~*~*~
Luckily Jc had found he early that morning in her room and told her they were leaving. She cried some more, but she had understood. The thing that scared Jc the most was that she had said "it's time." Jc was so scared for her. He didn't know what to do.
"Come on you guys it's 8:30 we have to get into the cars." Chris yelled from the bottom of the stairs.
"We're coming." Justin said with exhaustion in his voice. He hadn't slept much knowing something was wrong with Ali. "Ali, can I talk to you?"
"Yea, actually I just wanted to thank you," Ali said with a touch of bitterness in her voice.
"Thank me for what?" Justin was confused by what she said.
"Well, for this little thing. It was just what I needed. A chance for me to get normal again. So this little fling was so much fun thanks." Ali kissed him on the cheek and walked out of the living room with tears clinging to her eyes.
Justin had tears forming in his eyes as well, but he let them go. Justin got into the car first so no one would see him. After that everyone else go in too. The 25 minute ride to the air port was silent except for the sniffs Katie was giving off for having to say goodbye to Lance. Everyone helped with the luggage and waited for their 10:30 flight to happen. "Ali, can I see you for a minute?" It was Jc pulling her aside.
"Oh Jc what am I going to do without you? I might never see you again." Ali was crying hard but silently.
"Don't say that. There's no way I can go for long without seeing my Ali." He swooped her into his arms and swung her around. "No tears for me ok? We're going to spend a month together soon." He was right in about 2 months they were going to have a big break and they had already set it up to stay with Ali. "And every weekend we'll all talk on the phone, so really it's like only 8 phone calls away." Ali smiled Jc knew he was making her happy.
"Well when you put it like that then it's all good." Ali kissed his cheek and stood there for a big hug for a little while longer. "I don't know what I would have done without you guys," Ali paused to muffle a sob in her hands, "when I lost Jack I thought my world would be over. That I could never love anyone the way I loved him and even though the love is different I do truly love you all." Jc squeezed her once more and then let her go to say her goodbye's to the others.
"Chris oh Chris? Humph guess he doesn't want a hug, oh well." Ali smirked as she heard him creeping up behind her. Then he pounced onto her pinning her on the ground. "Oh gosh Chris get your bug but off of me."
"Nope I don't wanna go sugar chica." Chris had a few tears in his eyes and Ali realized that for once Chris was being serious. "I don't want to say goodbye sugar chica. Why don't you come with us? You could really I could put you int my suitcase. No one would ever have to know!"
"Oh Chris you know how much I love you, but you guys have some stuff to do and so do I. I'm going to see you in two months. That's it ok?" Chris got off and helped her up just enough so he could wrap her in a huge bear hug.
"Ok girlie ok. But I'm going to miss you so much ok? And I hope you are home every time I'm going to call you."
"Ok I will be." Ali was crying still as she went over to say good bye to Joey who was crying himself. They didn't say anything since they were both making each other cry harder. They just stood in a hug for about 5 minutes and as they parted Ali whispered, " I love you Joey, I'm really going to miss you." Instead of answering he just nodded.
Lance and Katie had been hugging each other, but she had let go to say goodbye to the others as well. When she was walking over to Lance she heard a shriek from a group of girls. Before they could move over to the guys Ali intercepted them, "can I help you?"
"Yes I ummm I was wondering is that I mean isn't it aren't they *nsync?" She finally managed to say. The girl could not have been over 11.
"No, it's not them actually those are my best friends. I know they look alike from far away, but it isn't them. But wait here," Ali went over to Katie's bag and pulled out a really nice group shoot. "Have this. I had a friend take it for me a little while ago. No one else has it. Take it keep it."
"Oh thank you so much," Ali had not anticipated this but the girl hugged her and left screaming.
"That was a really nice thing to do," the voice was Lance's.
"Thanks, it was the least I could do right? I'm going to miss you Lance so much. I also know I won't stop hearing about you from Katie. You don't know how glad I am that you too worked out. You're so perfect for each other. I love you so much. Thank you for making me feel so much better since well you know." Ali ran into his open arms.
"I am happy with Katie and it's thanks to you. I love you too Ali. You are something special we all know it. I'm going to miss you so much. Keep up those horrible basketball skills." Ali just smiled at Lance's joke. She kissed his cheek and walked over to her bag. She was trying to avoid the inevitable goodbye she was going to make next.
"Oh god oh god, I don't want to say goodbye. I love you Justin." Ali cried hard now her shoulders heaving with every sob. She was startled by an all too familiar hand on her cheek.
