Thank god these guys are here. I miss Jackers so much, but with the fellas I feel safer and happier. I think I would have collasped into despair if they weren't here. They've all been so good to me. And the house has never been this messy! I love them all so much, there's only one problem. I think I feel something for Justin and that something makes me feel all mushy inside. I haven't felt like that since Jackers gave me my last Valentine's Day card with a little box of candy hearts. This scares me so much. I hope he feels this way about me.
"Look at Ali over there. She is actually starting to smile again. I'm so happy she's getting better." Joey looked so pleased.
"Do you remember that stuff Jack gave us Chris?" Jc asked.
"Yes I have it upstairs. Maybe we should look at what he wrote us." The five guys walked up into Chris's room and waited while he pulled out the letter. He read aloud :
Dear Fellas,
Unfortunetly the reason you're all reading this is because I am gone. Now I know I am a very hard person to get over, but you can do it! I must ask you something and I hope you understand how important this is. I'm worried about Ali I am very worried. It scares me how upset she gets and since I know I won't be around I know she'll be hurt. What I ask is that you guys take care of her from now on. I don't mean replace me, but just look out for her like she's your best friend. Justin this part is for you. I saw how you two acted and felt about each other and I hope what you were doing was sincere Justin. Ali is mine and always has been, but if you truly feel anything towards her and don't hurt her you have my blessing. Be good to her. I know she cares about you but she has always been shy so I think you should make the first move. I've got to go now guys. I care about you all and becoming your friends was something very wonderful and I thankyou for that. She is also very smart so maybe you can give her a job for you guys or something. Take care of her she'll really need it. She hasn't got anyone except a friend of hers named Katie. She's about your age Lance (hint hint). Take care of Ali I pass the job on down to you five and trust me it has been very rewarding and I would not change this for anything. Good luck guys !
Now I hope you guys understand why I had to ask you to do this for me. I need to know she'll be alright and if you do this I know she will be. I can't help myself or my condition, but I can help Ali now and that's all I care about. On another sheet of paper is her address and directions to her home from the hospital. This is my last wish. My wish is to watch out for her. Since I cannot fufil this wish any more I ask you all to. I have been very lucky to meet you Jc and to meet yoyr groupmates Joey, Lance, Chris, and Justin. With all of you here it has been much easier on me. Justin you are a good person and if something does happen between you and my Ali I want you to know that you have my blessing. I will conclude this letter when the time comes that I know I don't have tomorrow. For now I say goodnight and I do hope I can trust you to say yes to what I purpose. Thanks.

"Wow, that was really deep." Joey said a little miffed on how Jack had spent his nights wirting that.
"He caught you Justin!" Lance said smiling.
"Hey guess what I just remembered. The prom for Ali's class is tomorrow night. Come on Justin let's get you a tux it'll be perfect." Chris was already grabing his keys.
"Wait I don't what Ali was going to wear and I have to match her sorta right?" Justin said.
"Let's call that Katie girl she probably went shoping with Ali." Jc said.
"Justin and I will go to her house and explain what's going on. Be back in a few hours."
~*~*~ On Katie's street ~*~*~
"It's that one. The blue one." Justin said pointing to a large house on the corner.
"Ok let's go."
They got out of the car and walked up the steps to the door. Chris rang the bell. "Coming!" A girl's voice yelled. "Hi, I'm sorry I was just upstairs about to call you..." The girl stood staring at the two guys.
"Are you Katie? We're here because we need to get something for Ali." Chris started.
"What are you doing here? Is she ok? What do you need? And since when does she know *nsync?" Katie asked all at once. Katie was tall and older then Ali and just as Jack had said she was about Lance's age. She had short blond hair and brown eyes.
"Ali is fine. We've been staying with her since Jack died about 2 weeks ago. We want Justin to take her to the prom tomorrow night and we wanted to know what color Ali's dress is so we could have an idea of what to get."
"Jack's dead. What happened?" Katie looked shocked. Chris went on to explain the whole story and apologize that she had to find out from them. "No it's ok I wasn't very close I just knew him. She dress is baby purple or thats what it says on the tag. She also is going to wear baby blue make-up. Does that help? Do you think she'll mind if I went over to her place today?"
"Yes that really helps and I don't think she would mind as long as you don't tell her we were here." Justin said smiling. He was obviously ready to do some shoping.
"Ok I guess I will umm go she her then."
"Thanks a lot and I guess we'll see you later." Chris and Justin turned and left. Katie shut the door and Justin and Chris could hear her squeal inside. "I guess she was a fan or something." Chris was laughing.
"Come on let's go! I have to get some other things." Justin jumped into the car and waited for Chris.
They bought a tux for Justin and a wonderful coursage made or light purples, pinks, and blues. It was perfect. Chris insisted tha Justin cut his fro a little bit. And they ordered a limo to pick them up.
"I really hope she'll want to go with me. I mean she was planning on going with Jack." Justin sounded a little worried.
"Yes I know that, but she didn't have a thing for Jack you dork so stop worring. Come on we have to get home. I'm hungry!!!" Chris pulled Justin into the car and drove off.
~*~*~ At the house ~*~*~
"Where are those two? Dinner is going to be ready soon."
"We're back!"
"Speak of the devils." Lance said under his breath but loud enough so everyone else could hear. Ali giggled.
"What's so funny? Come on sugar chica tell!" Chris screamed as he jumped onto her back.
"Oh please get off. Lance was just being silly. Where have you guys been dinner is going to be ready any second." Ali walked back into the kitchen.
After checking to make sure Ali was out of eye shot Jc asked, "did you get it?"
Chris and Justin both nodded because Ali was coming back. "Here guys dinner is ready I hope you like it Chris it's your favorite." Before they could sit down the door bell rang. "I'll get it!" Ali ran to the door. "Hello?"
"Ali open the door already!" Screamed a girl on the other side.
"KATIE!" The girls wrapped themselves into a tight hug as Ali started to cry. "Wha-what are you doing here?"
"I've missed you I haven't like seen you in more then a month. Where have you been? Talking on the phone once a week is not exactly what we used to do. Besides you've missed all of school. Tomorrow is our last day. Prom's tomorrow too. I don't know why they did tha but they did. We have graduation in a few days too." Katie was going to say more, but the feet of five guys stoped her.
"Are we going to eaaaaaaaaat soon?" Joey whined.
"You really know how to spoil a moment fool!" Jc said as he slapped the back of his head.
"No it's ok. Guys this is Katie, Katie this is well *nsync. I think I better talk to you. Come on let's go into my room. Guys please go ahead and eat we'll be down later." The two girls walked upstairs.
Ali proceeded to tell Katie in full detail about the hospital and Jack. Ali teared slightly but kept going. Ali told her how the guys had wanted to take care of her while she was upset so they stayed with her. "I don't understand why you didn't come to me?" Katie said she was upset too.
"Katie I couldn't face anybody how knew Jack. They were just there and it just happened. I was just devestated. Seeing you would have just been too hard. Do you understand?"
"Ok, but are you ok now?" Ali nodded and they walked to the door.
"Look we're just in time for seconds." Ali laughed at Chris's lame joke.
"Let's go girls. Come on." Justin pulled out Ali's chair for her and she sat next to him. They all ate dinner and then decided to go watch a movie. 2/3 the way into the movie Katie fell alseep in her chair. The others (Ali and *nsync) went out back and played some basketball. After they played for about an hour they all went to take showers and go to bed. They left Katie sleeping because Ali didn't want her to drive home sleepy.
