"Ali, I - I - I can't breath! Get the doctor Ali hurry." Jack was straining his head.

"Help! HELP DOCTOR! Hurry please Jack he's in trouble." Ali saw Jack's doctor down the hall and she sprinted to him. "Doctor, please come quickly Jack can' t breath."

"Oh dear, I feared this. I didn't know it would happen so soon." He said.

"What's going on?" Ali and the doctor was running together.

"If he can't breath it means the tumor has grown so big it's hurting his lungs. There isn't anything I can do now."

They finally reached the room. A nurse was with Jack who now wore an oxygen mask. The others were awake but standing out of the way.

"Oh god Jack I'm here don't worry." Ali choked out.

"What's going on? My chest it hurts so much."

"Jack, I'm sorry. I didn't think it would happen now. Your tumor has grown too big for your chest. It's only a matter of hours. Please make him comfortable. Jack I am so sorry." The teary doctor shook his hand and left.

"Ali, it's going to be ok. Everything will be alright. I'm going to be fine." Jack held out his hand asking her to take it. She did and sat down on the chair next to his bed.

"Jackers I can't loose you. You're all I have. I can't make it without you. They said 2 weeks. This isn't two weeks. Isn't there something we can do? Any thing we can do?"

"No, no Ali-girl. But listen to me ok? I've been doing a lot of reading about this place this beautiful place. Heaven is up there Ali and it's waiting for me." Jack said with such glory that it made Ali smile.

"Please Jack, you're scaring me. Don't talk like that please."

"We have to talk about it Ali. You heard Dr. Jones I don't have a lot of time. We need to except that."

"I know, I know I do. I just don't know what I am going to do without you. I love you so much. When I am scared or hurting or happy, you've been there. I'm at your house more then my own. You're my whole life and I can't face it without you."

"Yes you can Ali. You are the bravest person I know. You'll get through me. If I can't wait with you here and stay with you here. Then I will wait for you in Heaven. I know that I will have to wait long, but I will do it. I'll watch you and look out for you."

"Oh Jackers, I'm never going to see you again."

"Never say never! I'll wait for you always always."

"And I will make it through this. Promise promise." Ali sobbed.

"Oh come here you big softy." Ali lay down on the bed with him in his arms.

"Oh, am I hurting you?" Ali lifted her head.

"The only thing that hurts is that I have to let go of you." Jack was crying now too.

There Ali and her best friend lay. They must have been there for 2 hours just lying there. Then the other guys came over.

"Jack? I wanted to tell you that you are a great person. Becoming your friend was a great thing for me. You've made us all smile. We'll never forget you. Here can I put this on?" Asked Jc.

"Here, I'll do it." Justin took the tape and put it in his machine.

The soft music came on and the voices of Justin, Jc, Lance, Chris, and Joey came on. They were singing a very nice song. Ali wasn't really paying attention to the words, but the overall meaning of the song was how much of an impact a person made in their life.

Suddenly the heart monitor slowed down. Ali jumped off the bed. She was about to go out and get the doctor. Joey went instead.

"Oh no Jackers not yet please no." Ali sobbed out the words. Her hands held Jack's.

"Ali-girl it's time for me. You don't know how much I wish this wasn't happening, but if this is the cost of having you for those wonderful years then I wouldn't trade it for anything." Jack kissed Ali's hands and pulled her close. She could hear his heart, but it was faint and slow.

"I love you Jackers you are the best thing in my life and I will remember you always always. I'll never love anybody the way I love you."

"Never say never Ali never say never. Good-bye for now my love. I'll be waiting." Jack said slower. His breathing slowed.

"I love you Jackers, rest now my love just rest. You'll be fine. I promise I will be too. I won't let you down. This time I'll say never ok?"

"Yes, stay *nsync Ali-girl and remember me always always. Ok?" Jack was fading fast.

"Forever and ever Jackers." She kissed his eyelids. With his hand her pulled his face to hers and kissed her forehead.

"Goodbye fellas thank you." Jack said.

"Sweet dreams my love. Sweet dreams." Ali said knowing it was the last thing Jack would ever hear.

With that Jack's heart monitor went flat. Ali hadn't noticed Joey and Dr. Jones come in. As she looked at the faces around her they were blurred. She was sobbing. Before she could say anything more, Ali collapsed to the ground. Her hands were clenched into fists so hard her palms were bleeding. She remembered nothing after that point. Nothing except that Jack her Jack. The same person she had been planning on going to the prom with was gone and wouldn't be back.
