Welcome to the Meet the Authors page! Instead of listing every single one of our likes and dislikes we are just going to do something a little different. We don't want our readers to be bored with something that doesn't matter to them or that they are going to forget within minutes. Below, we have put down some information so you can have a little glance into our lives and to find out who it is behind these stories and where they come from. Enjoy!

How we met/became friends: We have known each other since we were born because we used to live right across the street from each other. Though M's family decided to be mean [it wasn't my fault!!] and moved away when she was 18 months old and D was 4 months younger. Our parents were best friends and kept close touch until our families drifted apart for a few years. It wasn't until our brothers high school graduations where our families got in touch with each other. *NSYNC just by coincedence was appearing on Disney at that time and the two of us immediately clicked back together. Even though we live around a half an hour away from each other, we still keep in touch because we are both addicted to AOL. :)

What got us started writing: Well D started writing fan fics a little before we started writing together. The first story we wrote together was Waiting For You, which can be found on this website. The first story D wrote by herself, was done out of boredom and for entertainment [And she will never share that story! Even though M wants to post it because she loves it!!]. M came over for a visit at D's house one day and you know what happens when two people haven't seen each other for awhile, they just turn stupid. :Þ So that's when we began writing the fan fiction Waiting For You and then we turned it into getting subscribers for it.

Why we write: To live out fantasies, just with writing, as simple as that. It's fun and entertaining to place someone you don't know in a situation and try to think of how they would react. It's just something that we both enjoy doing so why not do it together with something you like, *NSYNC. It also relieves stress and it clears the boredom away. It's also fun trying to come up with ideas together. [You have no idea how stupid we act when we are in a writing mood!!]

How we come up with ideas: Well M thought of the title Open the Door while sitting in her car going to Florida. [Look what boredom can do!] It is a combination of both of our minds put together, using our computers for the communication. Since we live in two seperate cities, we are always on the computer non stop and just throw out ideas. We basically each take a character and mix it with some of our own personality to make it more interesting for us and the reader. Most of the names used in the stories are our friends, family or love interests at the time. The main story is based on events that could happen in real life so that everyone reading could have a feeling of being in that characters spot or even relate to it. Things are taken from our daily lives, things surrounding us, or things that could happen.

Those questions and answers were just a small glimpse at our personalities and what actually is put forth to this story.
