Brian woke up, Sarah in his arms, and looked at the clock. Eleven-thirty
a.m. He had to be at the airport in a few short hours. Five hours,
to be exact.
And he knew he needed at the most three to get there, allowing for traffic.
Leaving him with two more hours alone with Sarah.
Two very short hours that would go by too quickly for his liking, making
him want to stay, making him stay and missing his flight, making his management
angry and the rest of the group angry and throw everything off.
Then they'd come and get him.
He couldn't make them do that, he'd never see Sarah again.
Brian looked down at Sarah's oval face, the face that held so much beauty.
He knew she was beautiful and was confident that he'd convinced her of
that last night. He hoped he did.
He tightened his grasp around her waist and
held her closer, playing with the end of her T-shirt. He leaned his
head forward and started kissing her neck, staying towards the back and
the base of her neck, but occasionally moving to the spot she said made
her feel weak, on the inside of her neck, near the front, at the base.
It was right inside her collarbone and she said it made her feel good when
he kissed her there. He kissed her there a few times, then moved
his kisses down to her shoulder. It was his shirt she was
wearing, his dark blue Kentucky Wildcats
T-shirt. It was his favorite and he was convinced that she looked
better in it than in anything else.
He kissed Sarah's bare shoulder lightly, feeling her soft skin. He
moved his kisses back up her neck and finally kissed her lips.
"Hmm, good wake up call," Sarah said jokingly as he broke away from her.
Brian smiled. "Glad you agree."
He started kissing her neck and shoulder again as Sarah yawned, stretched
out her legs, then laid her hands on his at her waist, lacing her fingers
"You know, I could stay like this forever. This feels so good," she
said as Brian kissed the spot that she fell weak to.
"I could too, this makes me feel a lot happier," Brian said, kissing to
the back of her neck and kissing the same spot over and over again. He
heard Sarah moan quietly and smiled through his kissing. He finally
stopped when the spot turned slightly red and turned her head to face him
gently. "I love you," he said simply.
Sarah smiled at him and kissed him. "I love you too," she replied.
Brian smiled back and hugged her close, content with her. He let
go of her and helped her sit up, then transferred his kissing to her other
shoulder, doing the same thing on that side.
"Brian," Sarah said. Brian paid no attention, instead he made his
kisses more intense, kissing harder and longer.
"Brian," Sarah repeated. Brian kissed her soft spot on the base of
her neck and smiled to himself as she let out a moan.
"Brian," Sarah said, though it came out as more of a moan.
"Yes, gorgeous?" He finally answered, kissing to the front of her
neck, pushing the shirt's collar lower.
"Brian, you don't have that much time," Sarah said as she laid back.
Brian pulled the shirt off of her and kissed her chest and her stomach
without answering. He gave her hickeys all over her body, kissing
every spot numerous times. He stopped kissing her stomach and moved
to her chest area. He kissed her so gently, like he was afraid to
hurt her, and felt her body tense beneath him. He kissed his way
back up her body and finally arrived at her mouth.
"I love your body," he whispered before he kissed her. He kissed
her deeply, almost roughly, but quickly, not ending the kiss, just making
it deeper. He pulled off his boxers quickly and put himself inside
of her, hearing her moan with pleasure as he broke the kiss. He kissed
her neck as he pushed himself harder, faster, wanting her more and more
with each passing moment. He moved his hands down her body, feeling
her every curve and finally moving to her legs. He ran his hands
up and down them, feeling the smooth skin that wrapped around his waist.
He reached climax with her and kept himself inside of her as he returned
his mouth to hers. She kissed him tenderly, stroking the back of
his head, and he held her like he was going to lose her. He held
her for a long time, then finally took himself out of her and covered her
with his arms.
"I love you so much, I don't want to let you go," Brian whispered into
her ear, hugging her close to him. He kissed her neck lightly, gently,
as she kissed his.
"I love you too, I don't want you to leave, but I know you have to," Sarah
replied, whispering in his ear. He closed his eyes as she sucked
on the base of his neck, towards the back. He let her lay on top
of him and he just held her, feeling her body in contact with his, fitting
with his perfectly. He ran his hands up and down her back, resting
them at her waist and in the middle of her back.
"I have to get ready," Brian whispered to her finally. He glanced
at the clock, an hour left before he had to leave. He stood up and
pulled on his boxers, and watched as Sarah put her shirt back on.
"Come on," he said, offering her his hand. She took it and he walked
to the bathroom with her, adjusting the water temperature to perfect in
the shower and stepped in. He waited until Sarah stepped in with
him, then got under the water. He held her in his arms under the
water, washing her body and his body and then starting on her hair.
It was very long, a chocolate colored brown that she was proud of.
He carefully poured the shampoo into his hands, then put it in her hair,
watching as the suds formed when he moved his hands around.
Sarah rinsed her hair and got out of the shower and Brian did his hair
quickly. He stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around
his waist, then held Sarah in his arms, drying her off with another towel.
He walked back to her room with her, after stopping and getting his bag
in her sister's room, and they both got dressed. He kissed her as
she finished putting her wet hair up in a clip.
"I love you, remember that," he said. He kissed her again, exploring
her mouth with his tongue. He held her around her waist and felt
her hands go through his wet curly hair, playing with the small pieces
in the back.
"And I love you, don't forget that, ever," Sarah said as they broke apart.
Brian nodded and glanced at the clock. It was time for him to go.
He checked and made sure he had everything, checking the room he was staying
in twice. He closed the door to the room and hugged Sarah.
"I'll miss you, I promise to come and see you or send you tickets to come
see me when we get back in the states," he said. "Or I'll even send
you tickets to come see us in Europe, its beautiful there, you'd love the
scenery, and I could show you around everywhere, Milan, Paris, Rome, Madrid,
London they're all beautiful just like you," he said, looking into her
eyes. He loved her hazel eyes, they were green a lot of the time,
but not a normal, plain green, but rather a green with brown and gold in
it. It was hypnotizing.
"Could you do me a favor?" Brian asked suddenly. He saw Sarah
smile and nod through her tears, almost like she knew what was coming.
"Could you smile and dry your eyes for me, so I could take a picture, please?"
Sarah laughed and wiped away her tears. "I had a feeling you were
going to say that." She composed herself and looked at Brian as he
pulled his camera out of his bag. He pointed it at her and made sure
it was in focus and in frame. He moved his head away from the camera
and made a goofy face at her, making her laugh. He pressed the button,
capturing her happiness in the picture.
"Perfect," he said, lowering the camera. He moved closer to her and
kissed her one last time, then held her, putting his camera in his bag.
"I love you, Sarah Howland, and I will never leave you or forget about
you in any way, I will always be here, even if I'm not here in body, I'm
here, with you, in mind and spirit," he said.
Sarah nodded, her tears starting again. Brian wiped away her tears
and kissed her cheek, then started for the door. He went straight
outside without stopping, and got in the rental car across the street.
He followed the directions back to the airport and got in his first-class
seat about ten minutes before take off. He finally looked back, and
started to cry, feeling the pain that he knew Sarah was feeling.
He looked at no one around him as he cried quietly, hurting, in pain for
the one he loved.
