Short Story Guidelines

Will like darker fiction, with well thought out characters and plots. We are looking for Dark Fantasy, Horror, Some fantasy (but not the sword and sorcerer type). The supernatural, the occult or the just plain bizarre is also welcome.

We enjoy ghost stories. Stories about Vampires, Werewolves, Fairies, Goblins, Ghouls, Zombies, Gods, Goddesses, spirits, mythology, legends, lore, angels, demons, and anything else you can dream up. Dazzle us.

We also enjoy some of the darker "heroes" and would enjoy to read some original dark hero stories. (please nothing using established comic heroes in your world)

WE DO NOT WANT....stories in which everyone is human, crime stories, stories with creatures whose only purpose is to kill and then be killed, stories where humanity is the good or "superior" race.

We accept novel excerpts as long as they fit out themes and other guidelines.

There is a 1,001 word minimum and a 6, 500 word maximum for short stories, however, if we are totally blown away we will print short stories up to 8,000 words.

Queries are not necessary.
