Second Skin Damplifier Extreme is an upgraded version of our original Damplifier. It measures in at a massive 1.53mm (60 mils) thick. When creating this material our goal was to increase the thickness of the material, yet still maintain the flexibility to conform to the contours of the complex panels of automobiles. We succeeded.

We recommend installation of Second Skin Damplifier Extreme on most high vibration areas of your car, including: Inner door skins, cabin side fire-wall, front dash, top of rear dash. Due to the heavy nature of this material we do not recommend that you use it on any upside-down surfaces, especially places that are exposed to extreme amounts of heat such as your roof or trunk lid.

For upside-down areas, we suggest the original Second Skin Damplifier. Damplifier extreme is not designed for use under the hood of your car or in any part of the engine compartment.
