National day of prayer
Wow--does anyone else feel like because this NDOP was coming, the enemy really slapped you upside the head?? I sure do. Last night there was a BIG blow-out at our house--and I mean BIG. Bill and Jessie mostly were involved, but I was in there some too and of course Kelly...Bill stormed off to work, and hasn't been heard from since. Jessie started talking about running away again. (she ran away several times about age 14). Poor Bill, I'm beginning to realize, has no clue how to raise teens. Girls, anyway...I talked to Jess quite a bit but the wounds of what was said and her own teenage hormones cause everything to be a much bigger deal than it already is. Anyway, back to the point: the enemy is out to GET us! If you don't think so, your head is buried!! Join me to pray for our nation today, and the families all across this country who are struggling to keep it together. It is a challenge, but we can do all things through Christ!!! Can I get an AMEN??????

day one
Greetings! I now have a blog! :)
I got the okay from my new doctor today to go back to the gym,so I'm going on Monday. I'm excited about the journey. I haven't yet figured out why I had to detour around life for two months, but I am on my way to being well again and am hopeful for the future--that I will continue on toward what God would have me be. It's Friday, and Bill and I took a long nap together this afternoon late, so I'll be up for a while probably. He is off at work now, and I'm here, typing and cruising the web. I found a support team on a website to help me in the journey toward 1) losing weight and 2) overall health, so I'm creating my own webpage here and blogging is fun...so here it is! I plan to post my moves forward (and back) here so we can all cheer each other on. Remember, LIFE IS A JOURNEY, NOT A DESTINATION. :)
