The program leads to a Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in Computing Support
Objectives of the Program:
- Install the computer hardware, software and operating system.
- Manage access to the resources of a network.
- Troubleshoot a computer problem.
- Provide technical support at a telephone help desk.
- Ensure the proper operation of computers in a workspace.
- Service clients in the workplace.
- Write computer programs using Visual Basic.
- Design web pages using HTML.
- Use and support office software.
- Comptia A+ Certification training.

Admission Requirements:
(You must satisfy one of the following conditions)
- High School Leaving Certificate
- Age 16 and have successfully completed Secondary IV English, French and
Mathematics.
- Secondary School Equivalency Certificate
- Age 18 and successfully complete a General Development Test and specific
prerequisite tests
Documents Required for Admission:
- Birth Certificate
- Proof of residence in Quebec for candidates born outside Quebec
- Québec High School diploma or last transcript of marks from the
M.E.Q or equivalency of studies as
recognized by M.E.Q. or the M.R.C.I.
Duration: 1800 hours, 120 credits – Monday to Friday 8 AM to 3:30PM
