What a great start this number is for a guy who (in my opinion) hasn't written a bad song yet. Not that you can tell from the lyric, but this was one of my first attempts at playing lead guitar. Sure wish I could say I haven't written a bad lead yet but there's only so much I expect you people to believe! |

When you sat upon my window sill I looked at you and I felt the chill I wonder if you love me still? Can feelings hurt So much they kill? Much was shared that very night Emotions flowered and took flight You never mentioned wrong or right Except to say that you just might One day, one day, You will see what you have made. One day, one day, You will see what you have made of me.
Winter passed, it seemed a bit too soon Leaving me as lonely as the moon Bitter feelings of impending doom- Emptiness- enough to fill my room When I finally saw you lying there... Tears you cried were hidden by your hair I spoke to you as if I didn't care Unhappiness I swore I wouldn't wear...
Now the memories come breaking through So many I don't know what to do Yes, I can remember holding you But I can also feel the hurting too And now the tears have come and gone- Know that you were the only one To see what really lies beyond Sunlight breaking through another dawn One day, one day, You will see what you have made. One day, one day, You will see what you have made. One day, one day, You will see what you have made of me...
