Chelsea Out of the Carling Cup!
Chelsea end their Carling Cup hopes at Villa Park. The game ended with Aston Villa winning 2-1, and they deserved it more than Chelsea. Claudio Ranieri put out a strong team but it seemed as though they were all playing in the wrong places. He played a 3-4-3 which on quite a few ocasions has proved it does not work. Both Babayro and Johnson played as midfield wingers. Duff and J.Cole played upfront with Hasselbaink. This game was a twin of the Bolton game.
