The sun is clouded over
My love we will one day die.
Captive to the earth under the clovers
Encased tombs where restless souls now lie.
The crow cries of our love’s end
Approaching quickly with God’s desire.
Here together we wait for death to send
As embers cool, from life’s once burning fire.
Light streams down from the sky
Revealing our path of life.
Cherish timeless treasures together as we lie
Receiving goodness and avoiding strife.
Forever and on our love will last
Never look too far in the future nor way back to the past.
