serve our nation well. We need a leader who can step up to accountability,
personal responsibility,
and maturity. We have serious tasks ahead. They require leadership rather
than blind
obedience and deliberative ignorance.
Schoolyard taunts may make Mr. Rove feel good... But
frankly, if his followers continue to take his cue, this will
result in a reverberating
defeat for the party
of lawless arrogance this November. (And
this is exactly what happened! tmf 2/1/07) Perhaps this is what it will take to
inspire responsible Republicans that they must take back their party from the mean extreme and its
deluded followers. We can all
work together in a partnership for civic-commitment and nation-building... here in America. It's a question of values.
