It is time for Unions, Non-Profits, Churches, Cities, Neighborhoods, and Nations
to stand up against unending war, war-profiteering, fear-mongering, and constitutional subversion.
We have marched each year for peace, and it is time to turn the ship of state.  The Bush surrender to
war and aggression was rank cowardice.  The Obama embrace of the Bush proposals for
preemptive aggression must not be condoned.  We must change course, seek peace, and end the
crass neo-colonialism of no-bid, cost-plus mercantilism in Iraq.  Our military personnel have been abused,
the American people have been betrayed, and the war on Iraq must neither continue nor be expanded.
