We need to look at the bloody truth on the ground in Iraq. Our continued occupation cannot be sustained. It has drained the US treasury, run up untenable deficits, undermined our military, sidelined our intelligence services, compromised national security, crippled our diplomatic resources, and cost American and Iraqi lives.

The price is too high. The corruption and lies must end.  These betrayals of American values must come to an end.  Endless war, profiteering, and corruption are not acceptable.

It is understandable that many well-meaning Americans who put their trust in Mr. Bush are disappointed. Acknowledging his failure as a president might be difficult. But there comes a time when our nation and our people matter more than partisan differences. The evidence is in. This is a failed administration which must be replaced with all speed. 2008 will be to late.
