 Evaluation Criteria for Written work: Twenty "measures" in four sections.  These are just a few of the measure of effective
writing technique.  Writing is a learned skill...  Not to worry. 

1. Quality of Ideas:

Range and depth, Logical argument, research or thought, complexity, awareness

2. Organization and development:

Title, Thesis, Transitions, Unity and Coherence, Details and Evidence

3. Clarity and Style:

Readability, Voice, Tone, Style, Clarity

4. Structure and Mechanics:

Grammar, Punctuation, Spelling, Sentences, Form
