Bush and his motley crew already have already
systematically
compromised the federal government. Now the people who threw the bums out,
(most working people in America) have to attempt
to rebuild this nation.
Corporate hegemony is simply a bad idea. Allowing the CEO's for transnational economic
cartels to run this nation has been an
unmitigated disaster. They have no loyalty to this country.
This is why they exported jobs, catered to the interests and eccentricities of Saudi royal families, and invested in China, India, and the corporate occupation of Iraq for eight years while our nation's economy took a nose-dive. Now skilled professionals and responsible adults must fix it. The "too big to fail" businesses must be nationalized. And sooner would be better than later according to most economists from both sides of the aisle. It might surprise some on
the right and left to be informed that this
process has already begun.
If we continue the difficult and
complicated nationalization of critical industries, and then
include
both our failed schools, and dysfunctional healthcare system... we might just have a chance of rebuilding the necessary foundations for the next century. Extracting reparations from the crime families and profiteers who have ransacked this nation for eight years would also be prudent. And a bit of jail time might be just what the doctor ordered. Real conservatives and traditional American liberals are banding together to save us from the con-men, criminals, syncophants, thieves, drug-addled talk-show hosts, and tap-dancing buffoons.

| http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21903753/ WASHINGTON - Former White House press secretary Scott McClellan blames President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney for efforts to mislead the public about the role of White House aides in leaking the identity of a CIA operative. In an excerpt from his forthcoming book, McClellan recount the 2003 news conference in which he told reporters that aides Karl Rove and I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby were "not involved" in the leak involving operative Valerie Plame. "There was one problem. It was not true," McClellan writes, according to a brief excerpt released Monday. "I had unknowingly passed along false information. And five of the highest-ranking officials in the administration were involved in my doing so: Rove, Libby, the vice president, the president's chief of staff and the president himself." | |||||||||||

To
acquiesce in allowing corruption to run rampant is to become
a collaborator.
If you are against torture, secret prisons,
covert propaganda campaigns, and
violations of national and
international law, you must contact your elected
representatives
in Congress and demand that George W. Bush be impeached.

Senior Lawyer at Pentagon Broke Ranks on

The Shame of the Prisons This week, the world got two chilling reminders of why Guantnamo Bay and Abu Ghraib prison must be closed. LEAVING A PERMANENT MARK ON IRAQ Tom Engelhardt, Tomdispatch.com No matter how much the military hems and haws about withdrawing from Iraq, the bases we're installing tell the real story. http://www.alternet.org/waroniraq/32320/ One of Washington's most well-known (industry-funded)lobbyistssmears labor Unions . The AFL-CIO labor union has found that UnionFacts.com is a front group designed to stealthily aid business groups. AFL-CIO spokeswoman Esmerelda Aguilar sent AlterNet a document stating in part: Unionfacts.com is a project of the Chamber of Commerce, according to an anonymous source. In a meeting of the State Chambers of Commerce National Conference held on Sanibel Island in Florida on Jan. 26, the Chamber announced it was spending $8 million a year to launch this anti-union website. Berman's rebuttal to this charge, as reported by the New York Times, is that "when he spoke at the conference, [Berman] neither asked for nor received contributions. Rather, he said, he asked chamber officials to recommend that businesses in their states donate to his efforts." It's this kind of sly language, hinging on technicalities,
that has kept the origin of the anti-union smear campaign under
wraps. Richard Berman is not in the business of finding
solutions. He's a generator of PR smear campaigns to benefit the
many corporations to which he is beholden. |
