     Peter Sorenson quote

Pete Sorenson is a bright progressive leader, with accurate information and a plan.  His opposition to a regressive sales tax and good ideas on more sensible progressive corporate tax structuring are critical.  His innovative ideas and solidarity with working people will make him an effective leader.  We need creative thinkers like Pete to help working people reclaim America.  He deserves our support.  http://www.petesorenson.com/
Pete Sorenson - Commissioner South Eugene

"I have learned that there is a price to be paid for doing the right thing.  To fight for the interest of ordinary people, a leader must always work harder, think faster, and be more determined..."

Listen to Pete's Radio Commercials    While Kulongoski favors a regressive sales tax, Pete Sorenson calls for major corporations with 75 shareholders or more to pay their fair share of income tax (2/3 pay none). We must invest in education K-College, and provide healthcare for the 600,000 Oregonians who have none. With your vote for a real Democrat for Governor, we can change the state of our Great State.

BlueOregon: BlueOregon Interview: Pete Sorenson

Ted Kulongoski  represents a viable alternative to the opposition.  His reconciliation with working Oregonians is helpful.   His mixed message on immigration, schools, and gambling is a concern, and he is less than focused on health care, economic development, jobs, and environmental concerns.  But he has, of late, shown some capacity for rethinking many of these issues.  He is a more palatable candidate when compared with more rigid Republicans on the issues.
