One of these, with it's *particularly* nasty "locking" "tuning" mechanism, all round atonality and general shiteness nearly put me off playing the electric guitar..for which some would thank their eardrums.
It was my first, new, guitar. My mother, who had been playing classical guitar for over 10 yrs,my stepfather [keen earred music buff] and friends all tried to tune it locked, unlocked,,uncle tom cobley and all..no tuney. Back to shop after 2 fruitless days. Got an Ibanez Roadstar II which was still wrong (*for me*),but, 300% better and played in tune for a few songs at a time..gasp.
Moral, don't buy one of these Marlins.

PS it may be that the RED ones are OK, mine was white ..and right handed.. :D.

"'Tis the Devil's bridge,my lord.. RUN!!,,,aargh!!" (etc).

I think we can see why this poor attempt at a locking bridge did not work.

Theoretically better "locknut" .. I said theoretically .
